Likes: Calling Vets and hanging up! Sleeping and walks where he didn't have to walk, he just liked to stand and sniff!! He also liked to be carried around! He loved to be snuggled and had an unfortunate attraction to girls arms (the younger the better)!!
Pet-Peeves: Being made to wear any clothing, and his brother Scamp getting attention instead of him. He would say "No, Mum, I'm more important than Scamp, snuggle ME"!!
Favorite Toy: He had no interest in toys...he thought they were for stupid immature dogs, like his brother Scamp!
Favorite Food: Whatever we were eating generally, and he would not even consider touching his special low protein dog food he was supposed to have!
Favorite Walk: Out the front door to the lampost and back (approx 3 metres).
Best Tricks: Tricks are for common dogs...Snozzle thought he was above all that. He was particularly good at NOT understanding No, Wait, Leave That, Come Here and Sit, that was a different language as far as he was concerned. (But he was deaf, well most of the time).
Arrival Story: He was a little stray dog I was called to collect when working as dog warden 12 years ago. I took him to the kennels, where he stayed for 2 weeks. Every day I had to go to the kennels I went in and visited him...he was so little and lost looking. It was November, freezing cold, and he looked so miserable. Over the 2 weeks we bonded and I fell in love with him, and when he wasn't claimed I took him home. I have always been puzzled why no-one claimed him.
Bio: Unfortunately Weedy was diagnosed with Kidney failure in May 2005 and was only given a month or so to live, however with the help of the Vet and lots of home nursing, he stabilized and had a happy healthy life for 17 months after his diagnosis. He did have his bad days every now and then, where he was very tired and would not eat much. He had to visit the vet once a month for his medication and injections. He was deaf for the last 6 months of his life, but somehow managed to hear food bags being rustled. Every day we still had him was a bonus and he was our little angel. Our little boy left us on 29th October 2006 and we are heartbroken. We are grateful though for the 12 wonderful years we had with him.

I woke up this morning to hear my Mum saying that I was generally minging and needed a bath!!!! I mean, ok, so I do have bits of old food in my ears and chest, but thats only because I'm saving it there for later....there might be an international disaster or something, and a little dog like me would find it hard to survive!! Also, she said I was getting scurfy dandruff, and that wasn't very hygienic considering I sleep under the duvet. I keep myself clean, I don't need a bath.....I gave her my saddest puppy eyes, but I heard her say...we'll do it Saturday morning.....think I better start looking sick again on Friday, that should see me through a few days.
