My Little Sister on Earth is Taking After Me!

Meow,

While my little sister on Earth Abigail and I have our own little purrsonalities, we do seem to have certain things in common. I have been observing from the Bridge that Abigail likes to meow while meowmy is trying to talk on the phone, which I used to do. Also, she seems to like trying to steel meowmy's food/beverages. This morning I observed Abigail trying to eat meowmy's breakfast, but wasn't very successful at as meowmy intercepted her before she could steel anything, but she was successful at getting into meowmy's water and cranberry juice. She just played with the ice in meowmy's water, but she actually drank the cranberry juice. I did this when I was a little cat on earth once too.

Hope all my furrends on earth are doing well! We seem to keep busy up here at the Bridge between partying and welcoming new arrivals. It seems like it is one neverending party up here.

Yesterday a package arrived for meowmy with lots of nice keepsakes to remember me by. This was from several Catster friends and their families. Inside this box was a little cat angel necklace, a cube with a bunch of my pictures on it, a gray angel cat with Colleen on it, and a nice book with a bunch of supportive messages that several of my friends wrote when a I went to the bridge.

My meowmy would like to thank each and everyone of these cats and their families for their support. Meowmy misses me, but she knows I am watching over her and her new little kitty Abigail who she is starting to see a lot of me in personality wise.

Meet Abigail!

I have a new little earthly fur sister. Her name is Abigail and she now has a Catster page. Feel free to send her a request. I was there tonight in spirit helping meowmy choose a new little baby. She noticed how friendly the little black cats were and fell in love with this little kitty that was originally called Queen. Meowmy didn't want to call her this, but as I know little Abigail will certainly be treated like a queen. She seems to be very playful.

Meowmy and Grandmaw Repainted Cat Room!

So today I got to watch Meowmy and Grandmaw repaint what used to be my cat room. They painted it an orange color. Looks kinda like the same color that a pumpkin is. Purrfect for this time of year and very cheery for all year round. I'm sure the next little kitty meowmy adopts will approve of it as I think it looks really nice. I was watching them paint from the Bridge to make sure they did a good job and they did.

Pet Pics on The News

So they have this segment on the morning news where they show pet pictures that people send in. Since I am a Bridge kitty now, I see everything that I want to that goes on, on this earth. By the way mom sent in a couple of my pictures, but they haven't shown them yet. Anymeow, this morning they had a cute orange kitty on there named Calvin. What a coincidence! I just happen to have a fellow Bridge pal who is an orange kitty named Calvin.

Cat Names For My Future Sisfur!

So I was listening in on meowmy and grandmaw this evening. They were talking about cat names for girls for the next kitty meowmy is hoping to adopt. Although she isn't adopting right away as she still hasn't got the cat room redecorated, she just wanted to get a name the whole family would like in mind. After going through the list, everyone decided that they like the name Abigail the best. So I guess that will be the name of my next sisfur whenever she is adopted.

First DDP As An Angel!

Meowmy checked my e-mail and noticed that I am a Daily Diary Pick! Thanks Diary Lady! This is reason to celebrate today. I think we are going to have a party up at the Bridge. The partying birds are up here too chattering away. We are going to have music (provided by my bird relatives Jack, Pretty Pat, and Polly) and lots of food. Oh and catnip too!

Halloween Tree!

As some cats might remember, I mentioned a while back that my vet's office has a Catmas tree that they keep up year round. They decorate it for all of the holidays. I think I might have seen it right before I went to the Bridge which was cool. Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays next to Catmas. They have it decorated with spider webs, spiders and skulls. Meowmy thought it was really cool too.

On a slightly unrelated note, meowmy just followed up with my vet's office to see when my ashes might be in. They said probably Monday which would be purrfect as meowmy has off Tuesday and could probably pick them up then.

Hope everycat on here is doing well! We've been real busy partying up here at the Bridge with all of the welcoming parties we have been having over the past couple of weeks. It's nice to have parties, but it is sad for kitties to have to leave their families.

Cards for Meowmy

Today meowmy received several beautiful sympathy cards. One was from her aunt and uncle who are my cousin Kitty Mae's pawrents, another was from meowmy's great aunt and uncle who are the pawrents to my cousins Harry and Sally and to my angel cousins Bailey (cat) and Irish (dog), and the last card was from my vet Dr. Jodie. Inside the one from Dr. Jodie, she put a clipping of some of my fur in a little baggie. Meowmy thinks she is going to put together a memory book of sorts with all the nice cards and messages that different friends and relatives have sent meowmy along with other pictures and keepsakes from me. Also, my meowmy's cousin and her husband and their two fur babies Aurora and Ava sent her a sympathy card as well.

Meowmy would also like to once again thank all the Catster kitties and their families for all their nice rosettes, stars, and messages of support and sympathy. She is forever grateful to each and everyone of you.

No, I'm not talking about the human with the mohawk who used to be on tv and was known for his "I pity the fool" saying. I'm talking about a cute little orange kitty that lives at my earthly vet's office. Meowmy went in today just to try and take care of some insurance issues and he was out roaming around. He is quite the friendly cat too. He came up to meowmy and let her pet him. Meowmy also noticed one of the vet techs calling his name. He walked right to her and she gave him some medicine/supplements which it looked like he didn't like. He did that same thing I used to do when given medicine - run away and lick his lips. I really pitty the fool who runs to a human thinking they are getting a treat, when in reality they are getting medicine!
