 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: July 23rd 2005
Likes: Cheerios, rice cake or any other food or liquid expelled from Penn's mouth; intercepting kisses between his parents; chewing up leaves, twigs and the occasional stolen baby toy.

Pet-Peeves: He hates loud bass and hip-hop music; sirens; skateboards; the garbage truck; and being touched or jiggled when he's playing tug-of-war!

Favorite Toy: A nasty little rubber soccer ball he stole from the dog park!

Favorite Food: I can't believe I ever gave him these, but he freakin' loves BEGGIN' STRIPS (a.k.a. Doggie Crack!) He also likes anything being chopped up on the cutting board, especially asparagus and broccoli.

Favorite Walk: Anywhere that allows him an opportunity to pee on lots of things, sniff and roll in poop, drag any bit of debris along with him, and bark at strangers.

Best Tricks: He will jump while attempting to make the "touchdown" sign whenever anyone (his dad) yells "TOUCHDOWN!" He also knows the basics: sit, stay, down, rollover, play dead, beg, walk, speak and jump.

Arrival Story: Our big rescue dog, Bryce, was battling bladder cancer and nearing the end of a very long, very sad journey. I wanted a companion for him during the day and also another dog around to ease what I knew would be a tough mourning period for us. The worst part was, I had developed allergies to pet dander (especially since Bryce was ALWAYS shedding and the cancer didn't help matters) and he wasn't keen to share his much-deserved reign over the household with just any other dog. So needless to say, it took a while to find the right animal for the three of us. Through a series of complicated but fortunate events via a friend at work, we stumbled across this little poodle puppy, Buster.

Bio: On his first night with our family, Buster was so exhausted and confused, I couldn't get him to go pee or poop (in fact, it would be another 17 hours before he tried either!) and he was definitely leery of his big, scary older brother. But they eventually warmed up to each other, and on the days he was feeling particularly saucy and wanted to play, we had some of the best moments in dear Bryce's short life. Once we lost him, we thought the wound would never heal, and even had trouble cuddling with just Buster after Brycee-Boy was gone. We thought we would never and could never love another dog as much. But it didn't take long for Buster to assume the throne in our hearts. He is incredibly smart, inquisitive and responsive, and can also be a downright pest sometimes. He recently became the big brother to a new human named Penn. Despite a confusing couple of weeks there in the beginning (and much posturing for the best position on mom's lap), these boys are now the best of friends. They play "keep away" with each other's toys, and also greatly enjoy any opportunity to feed each other their respective dinners, much to mom's chagrin.
