Iggy likes regular chow. That's how he got the name The Chow Boy. He likes a big ol' bowl of chow with two eggs on top, kinda soaked down into it.
Favorite Walk:
Iggy likes to walk around by himself on the farm in Iowa. There he can chase them damn pesky "rabbutts" that seem to be around the place.
Arrival Story:
Iggy was born in Central Minnesota, and has a white mother, with one brindle patch over her eye--and a brindle dad. Iggy got picked out over his brother because his tail was just a little longer, and he was cuter. He used to live in the country, and spent several weeks with his family. He knew it was time to go out on his own. He may look like a lover--and the ladies say he's a real softy--but he definitely has a ruff and tuff side. Like when he's rippin' the holy crap out of an old shoe, or chasing pesky "rabbutts."
Bio:
Iggy lived for three years in Saint Paul, in a small rented house. During his first six months there, when he was just growing up, on a hot summer night, he woke me up barking and howling like crazy.
I came downstairs and told him to be quiet and get back to bed, but he woke me up again with that same barking, trying to tell me something. I looked outside, and sure enough there were flashlight flickers in the car out front. Some pesky high school punks were trying to steal the stereo. I opened the door and ran out and the kids scuttled off like cockroaches with Iggy in hot pursuit. However... he found it more fun to pick up the face plate and carry it into the neighbor's yard.
Iggy established himself with that guard-dog incident, and ever since then I've felt assured that he keeps a pretty sharp eye on what goes on around the place, mostly at night. In the day, you couldn't wake him up with a car horn. He likes to sleep and laze because he is workin' so hard keeping tabs on things by night.
