Likes: Going for walks, playing fetch, going for rides, being naughty to get attention, sleeping in, and play dates.
Pet-Peeves: Kids that chase me, not being allowed on the dining room or coffee table, being ignored, and getting brushed.
Favorite Toy: Empty water bottles, squeeky toys, Bounce dryer sheets, anything I shouldn't have- especially socks, undies, pens, and hair brushes.
Favorite Food: Salmon, Yummy Chummies, Greenies, edamame, watermelon, mango and pineapple. But I ask for anything my humans are eating, momma says I don't have a "full button".
Favorite Walk: The longer the better so I can check my p-mail! I love seeing other dogs and making new friends. But I won't walk with a harness...no no no, collars only.
Best Tricks: Dancing, catching air balls, using my "hands" to hold onto and grab things, and I can jump VERY high- I've been known to pull hot pads off the kitchen counter to get mom's attention.
Arrival Story: Originally from S. Dakota, my family got me from a breeder after their first Bichon had to be put down. They thought they would have a hard time moving on, but we're such cute puppies, they fell in love with me immediately. My mom and sister named me Petite Chienne (French), because I've got a really great diva attitude- it's my best feature, I'm smarter than I let on...I think I'm people. I'm very different from their first Bichon, so they can love us for different reasons, she was the "super model" version, I'm more of a "tom-boy" :-)
Bio: I love living in Alaska because I'm a huge fan of the snow- I'm a December baby. I'm also very good at picking up trash (especially water and soda bottles) on my walks, chasing cats away from our bird house, and playing with big dogs- they like to chase me. I'm very active and I'm always looking for new friends with lots of energy so I don't wear out my family. For some reason I love to play around 11:00 pm! My momma walks me every day and feeds me, my daddy plays with me every night and will hold me as long as I want, and my sister has the best nails for real good scratches and doggie massages, she knows all the good spots, plus she takes me to see my friend Dodger, she and I share human/doggie friends- very, very convenient.

I've Been On Dogster Since:
I just want to say thanks to Dogster.com for providing such a great site for dog lovers. My family really enjoys getting to meet my new pals, see cute photos, and share info on group message boards. So much fun, such adorable dogs, and good people. Rock on fellow Dogster surfers and a big round of "appaws" to those involved with keeping the site going!
Okay, for Memorial weekend my family took me to Homer Alaska to do a little walking on the beach, B&B-ing, and then some clamming and king salmon fishing (i'm a "hand-full" they say so I chilled in the truck for those activities). Homer was so much fun, if I didn't know better I would say it's the dog capital of the country...everyone has a dog, lots of big dogs, I love big dogs. I had a hard time sleeping though while I was there because I was so excited and that made my daddy realllly mad! Then when I got home after the weekend I went up to my friend Dodger's house, he's the cute Shih Zue on my page. We played for so long, which is great since he's an older man :-) But then I couldn't help myself and I chased the kitties he lives with. I don't normally do that, but my momma has been teaching me to chase the kitties in our yard so they don't bother the birds in the spring... and I have a hard time knowing the difference. Momma got upset though and said I can't go to his house anymore for awhile and Dodger has to come to our house to play. I'm just a kid though- I don't know any better!
Well I went to the groomers yesterday...mom calls it "spa day" mostly to make it sound good and because it costs so much :-) I look great, I will admit, but I'm sure there are others out there who will agree with me, it is so uncomfortable to have them clean out your little butt glands! I'm so self-conscious today and even my family can tell I'm feeling violated. They tell me it's good for me, so I'll believe them, but boy is it embarassing and annoying. However, my family is taking me to Homer and Ninilchik Alaska this weekend to go fishing and clamming- so I can't wait to get dirty! My daddy is very upset that we planned my spa day at such a bad time...he thinks it will be a complete waste of money once I've had my fun on the beach! He's probably right.
