My Diary
How I found my homeAugust 2nd 2006 11:19 am[ Leave A Comment ] Hi, my name is Bandit and I would like to tell you how I found this wonderful home. I started life out at my breeder's house and went to live at a new home when I was around 8 - 10wks old. This new family had bought me to guard their geese. When I grew up, they kept me outside all of the time. I missed being with them, but I loved to herd the geese into and out of the pond. It was alot of fun!! Also, our neighbors had a herd of cattle. The cattle were fun to herd also!! I had fun herding all of the animals every day. Eventually I started to get lonely, then one day I met a few cyoties and we would play together almost every night. It got to where I didn't really want to go back home anymore, I finally had some friends!! Then one day I heard my owners calling for me and I came back. There was another family there at my house. I came and said hi to the new family and they talked alittle bit to my owners. Then they put a leash on me and took me into their car. They became my new family!! I was 2yrs old when this happened. They started to work with my training soon after I came home with them. My mom said that she wanted to teach me how to run in agility, but after some time they saw that I am not real good with other dogs (because I learned to much from the cyoties). So they decided that I shouldn't do agility (my family was worried that I would go beat up another dog). Well, after contacting my breeder (they got her number from my first owner), and after doing alot of research on my pedigree, they decided to breed me. My first litter, I had nine beautiful puppies, and I loved every one of them. You can still see one of those puppies (Blazing Fire), we decided to keep her. This helped me to get along with other dogs, as well as confirming that I had just learned to be dog aggressive (all of my puppies LOVE other dogs). In my whole breeding carier I've only had three litters (Patch is another one of my babies). And now I've been retiared, and my mom has decided to get into rescue and not breed anymore. Now I can run around and play with my puppies, and I am OK with most submissive dogs now, I just don't like dominant dogs (And I don't like Carma, I don't know why yet, but I just don't like her).
