I got an Adv. Snooker Leg!

I just got back from another agility trial today. Mom says I did really good. I got a ribblon in each of my classes, but three of them wer NQ's for small things (one was a knocked bar, one was a popped contact, and I was slightly over time on my Gamble). But, I got a 1st place & a Q in Adv. Snooker today! Mom says it was a very beautiful run. = )

I got my AD title!!!

I got my AD (Agility Dog) title today!! All I needed was a clean run in Pairs and I got it today. = ) I am sooo happy.

Now I am going to work towards my AAD title. All I need for that title is:

two more clean runs in Advanced Standard
one clean run in Advanced Gamblers
one clean run in Advanced Snooker
one clean run in Advanced Pairs.

I already have one clean run in Advanced Standard and one in Advanced Jumpers. = )

Former Foster Dogs

Now that we can transfer former foster dog's pages to HQ we won't have to take the pages off of Dogster anymore! = ) I am going to keep a list of our former foster dogs here so everyone can visit their pages.

Agility Trial

I got to compete in another agility trial this past weekend!! It was a USDAA agility trial. Here were my results:

Starter Pairs Relay - NQ & 3rd. This was a very hard course for starters and I had an off course. Also, my partner missed his contacts.

Advanced Standard (Sat) - NQ & 4th. Another hard course and I had a off course.

Advanced Jumpers (Sat) - Q & 1st.

Advanced Standard (Sun) - Q & 2nd.

Advanced Jumpers - NQ & 4th. Both me and mom were tired by this run and we had an off course.

I think my next trial will be in Dec. But mom says that we will probably only enter Pairs this time (I really need that Pairs leg, then I'll have my Agility Dog title!!).

Update on dogs needing homes.

I have some good news. Cherry, Benny, Alvin, and Cody from my last entry found their forever homes since last time I wrote about them!! = ) So now I have a new list of dogs I would like to find homes for.

- The first one is Little Bit, you can see his picture on my page. He is first because he is still in a high kill shelter and his time is running out. He is a beautiful purebred BC that looks alot like me, and I REALLY don't want to see him be put down. Unfortunately we don't have any more space available for foster dogs, so we can't take him. So I am trying to get the word out about him and hopefully someone will be able to help him before his time runns out!! Please Pmail me if you would like more information on him.

- the next one is Meadow She is a 6yr old female Corgi/Shepherd mix. She is housetrained, cratetrained, good with cats, good with kids, and good with other dogs. She just wants a nice quiet place to spend the rest of her life. She had been dumped in the woods of Quinlan, TX and was forced to live the life of a stray for 4 long years. So she is ready to spend time chilling out on the couch, watching TV with her people. Since she is a Corgi mix, she should still have a long life ahead of her.

- The next one is Isabelle She is a 1 1/2yr old daughter of Meadow, although she looks like she could have a little Terrier or maybe even sight hound in her. She was born as a feral dog in the woods of Quinlan, TX. But she now completely trusts her foster mom and is ready to have a forever home of her own.

- The next one is Chico He is a 9 month old male Chihuahua. He is a very sweet little Chi and loves his foster mom. He came to our rescue with Parvo, but he has been treated and is completely healthy again and ready for his forever home.

- Austin is a 2yr old male Australian Shepherd mix. He loves everyone, but he will chase cats if they run, so he would probably do better in a home without cats. He is wonderful with kids and other dogs. He LOVES attention and likes to lay in his foster mom's lap when she is sitting down. He also let's kids use him as a pillow when he is sleeping. = ) Austin is neutered, UTD on shots, housetrained, and UTD on HW Preventive.

I got my SJ Title!!!!

Mom only entered my in Jumpers this weekend. I had a beautiful run with no faults and a fast time. Since I had no faults it was a qualifying run (you need three "qualifying runs to get a title), and I got second place by .21 sec because I spinned comming out of the tunnel (mom didn't tell me to jump soon enough). This was my third Q in jumpers, so I got my Starter Jumpers (SJ) title!! So now I'm in Advanced Standard and Advanced Jumpers, and I only need one qualifying round in Pairs relay to get my Agility dog (AD) title and move up in everything. = )

My USDAA Trial results!!!!

Hi everyone, I just got back from the first day of this weekend's USDAA agility trial!! I was only entered in Starters Gamblers and Starters Pairs. I got a Q and 2nd place in Gamblers. That was my first Gamblers Q!! Then mom messed us up in Pairs, at least we had fun. = ) Tomorrow I will be running in Starters Gamblers again and Starters Jumpers! I'll include a list of the titles I am working towards and how many Q's I need to get them. = )

- Advanced Standard Agility (ASA) = 3 Q's (I have only run once in Adv. Std. so far)
- Starters Jumpers Title (SJ) = 1 Q
- Starters Gamblers Title (SG) = 2 Q's
- Agility Dog Title (AD) = 1 Pairs Relay Q

Let's help more dogs find their forever homes!!

First I have some good news, all of the dogs/puppies in my last entry found wonderful forever homes!!! Yay!!

Now, I have some more dogs that I want to help find forever homes for.

The first one is Meadow, she has had a very hard life and I would love to see her find a forever home soon. Meadow is a 6yr old Sheperd/Corgi mix. She is built like a Corgi, and very cute. She loves kids, and is great with other dogs, cats, and birds.

The second dog is Isabelle. She is a 1yr old daughter of Meadow. She would prefer a home without young kids, but loves other dogs and cats. You can read more about her story on her page. She is a wonderful example of what love and patients will do for a dog.

The next one I would like to fine a home for is Cody. Cody is the last of a litter of 10 Lab mix puppies left at our rescue group. He is a little shy, but he is sooo sweet. He is about 4 months old now, and he gets along great with everyone.

The next one is really three puppies. Alvin, Cherry, and Benny (I'll need to get the link for his site). They are 3 month old Catahoula/Lab mix puppies. They were from a litter of 11 puppies, all of their siblings have been adopted. They all have wonderful personalities and love everyone, people and animals.
