Arrival Story:
We had planned on going to the two nearest Humane Societies to get our new dog, but for some reason we went to this Garden Center that had a pet center. I knew I should rescue a dog, but I a sucker for westies. I saw Kit Kat at 5 months with her brother "on sale" (how awful is that a dog 'on sale') and had to get her. I still regret getting a puppy from a pet shop, but I love her so much. I know I will never do it again. It was our first time. M&M was a rescue. Next time...
Bio:
I still feel bad for getting a pet shop dog, but she is the greatest! I left for my last year of college, but my dad retired and can be with her all the time. My friend had a hyper westie. Luckily, Kit Kat is only hyper when she does her quick westie laps around the house or when people show up. She is super friendly and gentle as soon as she calms down. She only jumps on Ryan and play bites with Dad. She jumped into my lap soaking wet for a nap after her first playtime in the rain. Only she was pleased.
She is unique and has BIG, interactive ears. She does what she wants to do and does a "mean pee" in the house when she doesn't get her way. She struts and stalks. Kat is a good name for her, since she acts like a cat. If you have treats or ice cubes she will sit. If there is food on the kitchen table don't expect her to come back into the living room and she will hop into the kitchen chair. She likes to sleep on people's feet as if they were pillows.
When she first sees you she jumps, kisses, and body slams into the couch like a rock star. She will sit by you to get a belly rub and maybe stay by you.
She loves yoga, but she only seems to do downward facing dog. Hmm

I've had my human back for a year and a half now. I'm confused though. She leaves after midnight when I am supposed to be sleeping. She said its work. Oh well, I got to jump in the snow. Also, there's this big tree and paper to tear up. I got in BIG trouble when I nibbled on some of that shiny paper. OOPS!
