Bad Girl!

Mom is really mad at me! She came home last night and I been playing in mud puddles all day! I was covered in mud (shows I had a good time!). But mom wasn't very impressed, first she threw my butt in the bath tub and made me take a bath, then she had to mop the floors AND clean the rugs! I know she was mad, but I had such a good time!

Doggy Training

Well, mom took me over to try a play group -- but all those dogs scared me! One of them was HUGE! I wanted nothing to do with it! So, next thing I know, I am in doggy school -- my question is why? I think I am loveable the way I am! But mom hopes this will help me get over my shyness!

Went to my first class last Monday . . . it wasn't so bad. But I have to learn sit, lay and stay. Oh, does mom have her work cut out for her! But, I am a quick learner. I pretty much just stood there and watched all the other dogs, fortunately, none of them strayed into my space. If mom keeps giving me treats, I think I might like this "doggy school idea"!

I am so sad . . .

Okay, its July 16, 2006 and my best friend Bailey has just left for his new home in Annapolis, Maryland! I will miss him so much, but I know that he deserves a mom of his own! But I will have no one to wrestle with or swim in the pool with. I am so sad!

I guess I will go back to annoying Cody!

Mr. Bailey

Mom brought home a little 4-month old black lab puppy (pictures to come)-- he is soooo sweet! We spend all of our time playing -- until mom yells! I have taught him to go in and out the doggy doors -- I am sooo proud! He loves to play in the kiddie pool with me! It's so nice to have someone else around to play with me -- Cody gets a little cranky! Hopefully mom won't find anyone to take him, and he will get to stay with us -- that will make Cody and the cats mad -- but that's life -- suck it up! If anyone out there lives around Stafford, Virginia and is looking for a real keeper -- let us know -- if not, I guess he is part of the family -- YEA!

I even got my hair cut again yesterday -- it wasn't too bad, I look a little naked -- but at least I am cool! And mom lied to the groomer, I no longer weigh 50 pounds -- at the vet I was 70 pounds -- but I think it was all hair -- I bet I weigh 50 pounds again!

And, just so everyone knows -- its my birthday -- HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TO ME, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
