My nearly-fifteen year old daughter wanted a puppy, so we went to visit a litter. There were two chubby pups left... and a little skinny one that belonged to a different litter. Her mother had no milk, and the little thing was not doing well. However, she kept following my daughter, begging to come home with us.
We discovered she was lactose intolerant, and had a calcium deficiency. She still has an odd digestion, and has trouble with her teeth and claws, but Tess is a sweetie.

Tess plays auntie to Preacher, her friend Ace's son. She loves to spend quiet times with me... "we're senior bithes together", she says.
