Arrival Story:
Ace came to us a couple of years after our beloved spaniel, Ace the Snout, died at 17. We had Tess, a young JRT, and wanted a companion for her. A local litter was advertised in the paper, so we went to visit, taking Tess with us. Mama JRT climbed onto my knee, so we choose the biggest, strongest little bitch (Tess was a litter runt, and has had a few problems), and took her home. We named her "Ace".

Bio:
Ace is a comedienne. She obsesses about balls, bones, sticks, swimming, her favourite person and all sorts of other things. She is very clever, and invents games with rules. Her powerful nose can sniff down her ball wherever it is hidden. This attribute led us to write the Jack Russell: Dog Detective series of books. To our sorrow, our beloved Ace left us in 2007.
