Likes:
Going to doggy-daycare and playing with all my friends, when people come to visit and when Daddy gets home from work.

Pet-Peeves:
Not being allowed to chase the cat and eat the cat's food. I also don't like it when my Mom & Dad won't let me jump on people! And I absolutely HATE it when they say 'no.'

Favorite Toy:
Tennis balls (I skin them), squeaky pig & hedgehog (RIP you guys), heck, I'll play with anything!

Favorite Food:
Bully stix, licking Dad's ice cream bowl, whip cream, popcorn, bananas, watermellon, treats.

Favorite Walk:
I get to go for long walks in the neighborhood with my Dad every night.

Best Tricks:
I sit, shake, lay down, roll over, catch toys and I'm getting really good at sneakin up on that dang cat!

Arrival Story:
After Carley died, my Mom & Dad decided that they just HAD to get another Boxer dog. They found a breeder not too far away who had a litter available and they came to see me and my brothers & sisters. Well, we were all in this big box thingy and everyone started going crazy and jumping all over each other trying to get my Mom & Dad's attention. Everyone except me, of course. I chose to play it cool (though I did get stepped on a few times) and decided to let those people come to me. When they finally picked me up, I just gave them little licks on the face...no nipping. I'm happy to say that they picked me. They figured I was more mellow than the rest of those knuckle-heads. Sure it was sneaky. Yep, I fooled em good. Boxers are like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get!

Deep Boxer Thoughts

Why'd They Do That?!?!?!

Last week, my Mom & Dad took me to my doctor's for a slumber party. Or, that's what I thought I was going for. Anyway, instead of sleeping over with a bunch of other pups at Dr. Sandy's place, I got spaded. I woke up with a belly ache and a funny looking line on my tummy.

Ever since they pulled that dirty trick on me, they won't let me go out in the backyard without a leash cause they don't want me in the pool. What's wrong with them? I can swim! And, the other day, we were going for a ride and I started to jump into Dad's truck and they both yelled at me at the same time! Then Dad picked me up and put me in, like I'm some kinda little baby that can't do it by myself. I started going to doggy daycare a couple of weeks ago and I loved it! I got to go two mornings a week and I was starting to make some really cool friends...four legged ones like me who didn't mind when I boxed em in the face and slobbered all over em. Since I got spaded, I haven't got to go but Mom says I'll prolly be able to go back at the end of next week. Dad hasn't been taking me for my big walks either but Mom says I'll prolly get to go tonight.

***SIGH*** Things were going pretty good and I was being a good girl and then they went and did this. I sure hope things get back to normal pretty soon cause this sucks!

Broke The Rules

Mom says I broke the #1 pool rule today...no pun intended. I peed in the pool. I was playing around on the top step and I had to go! So, I stopped playing, squated and peed. They were so shocked that neither one of them said anything. They just stood there looking at me with their mouths open! I've seen THAT look before and it usually comes with a scolding. I guess I out-did myself this time!

Camping

My parents made reservations today in an R.V. park at the beach in Ventura. They are pretty excited about it. It's the first camping trip they're taking since my sister, Carley, died. I guess my mom was pretty hung up on the whole camping, trailer deal because it has such bad memories for her since that last trip. Anyway, she's really excited about taking me to the beach for 3 days now that I've had all my shots. I guess I should be excited too but I really don't know what any of this is about. All I know is that I won't have to sleep in my crate. I heard her and my dad talking about it and I'm going to get to sleep on the floor in their bedroom. That's kind of neat. I'll write more after the trip and tell you all about it.
That's all for now,
Love,
Molley
