Arrival Story:
After losing Casey, we didn't know how long we'd wait to get another dog, but we found ourselves looking for a puppy in a shelter that had this 6.5 yr old purebred Weimie and we just couldn't leave him there! He sat and watched us look at the other dogs and woofed at my husband to get his attention and sat "like a champ", we took him out of the kennel and he just looked so sad after being given up for adoption, we decided right then to rescue him! He really is a great dog, and he made our family complete...again
Bio:
We can't imagine anyone just walking away from a dog after 6.5 yrs, but we're glad they did, because now we have our sweet Blue boy! We think he may have been abused, since he was shy at first and still is handshy. He is a sweetie who loves to snuggle in bed in the mornings! He also gives "high-5"... but only to Mommy!

You found us when we needed rescuing as much as you did! We love you so much, we can't even put it into words. Sometimes when I think about how sweet you are, I could cry! You remind me and grammy of Poppy, and that is something SPECIAL! we are proud of you and want you to know how everyone happy when they are around you! You are the love of my life!

Hi All,
It's spring! Yay... I get to wear my bunny ears. Mom and Dad have added more stuff to BPS (www/blueprintsshop.com) with pix of me in them just in time for Easter!
Also, there is a great picture Dad took of me with a bunch of roses mom had in the living room... he calls is a Blue-quet! They crack me up sometimes with all their clever-ness...
And I dont know if you all know that we've gotten involved with the Del-Val Weim Rescue people... really nice folks! Anyway, we're now sponsors of them and their cause. They really like all the photos Dad takes of me;-)
They will be running a weimie Photo Contest starting in April! Like I always say... Weims; we're not just for Wegman anymore! So, everybody get your cameras out and start taking pix of us to enter! There's 5 categorys to submit to. (All the details are on their website: http://dvwcrescue.org/PhotoContest.htm ) all the money raised goes back to the rescue. Woof for a GOOD CAUSE!!!
