Favorite Walk: Why walk when you can lay down and have your belly rubbed?
Arrival Story: While meeting a potential adopter for my foster, I was told the story of an adorable little guy that was set to be euthanized in a couple days. He was said to be great, the only reason that this adopter didn't take him home was because his dog didn't like him. This man urged me to go up and meet Milo in person. I agreed and figured that if he was a good boy I would foster him.
Milo was picked up as a stray in Hackensack at 6 months old. This poor boy spent the next 6 months of his life in the shelter waiting for someone to come and rescue him. He began to form calluses on his forehead from pressing it against the cage to see who was coming down the hallway of the shelter. Even though he was small and very affectionate, he was continuously passed over because of his breed.
Well it was love at first site! I instantly knew that Milo would spend the rest of his life with me. When I took him home and introduced him to my girls they were instantly smitten as well, it was a perfect match.
