My "pack", going anywhere, laying on pillows, romping on grass
Young dogs with lots of energy, baths, eardrops, wearing clothes (that's why we have fur - so we don't have to!), being told what to do
Any toy that squeaks (so I can break the squeaker), but paper towel rolls are always grrreat!
Banana peels, anything my humans eat, steak bones, treats of any kind are good....
Pretty much anywhere outside the house
Shake, "Bang" (play dead), Roll Over, Grumble, Speak, Waggy Tail, Lay Down, Sit
My mom, Gracie, belonged to my male human's parents, and I happened to be born on my female human's birthday. My humans chose me over my two brothers and sister, and I officially joined their pack whenI was seven weeks old. We've been a happy pack ever since, although they still seem to think that they are the boss of me, which they aren't (but I let them think that way so I can get away with more).
I still see my mama Gracie often, and I get to see my "cousins" Riley and Xander whenever we all get to go to our female humans' "work" (from what I can tell, this is a place my female human has to go to many days for a long time and she's not terribly excited to go sometimes. I don't get why though - the people there are so friendly and everyone has treats!) People keep thinking I'm a Lhasa Apso because I'm a little bigger than what they think a Shih Tzu should be, but both my parents are pedigreed Shih Tzus so there's no doubt in my mind!

Have I ever mentioned how great the word "Go" is? It means so many things - "go" to work, "go" for a ride, "go" outside, "go ni-night", "go" get treat.... Any time my humans use the word "go", I know it means something wonderful is going to happen.
(Well, except for the times when I need to "go take a bath". I really, really don't like to do that. I can usually tell when this is the "go" we're doing when one of the humans grabs my towel).
(And yes, I do have my own towel. Doesn't every dog?)
So that's why "go" is the greatest, most splendiferish word EVER! No other word could mean so many fantastic things. My female human says it's a 'verb', which is an action, or something we "do", so that's probably why I like it so much.
All I know is that "go" could take me to a park, a car ride, a dog park, my female human's work, the place where Mama lives, the place where my cousins Riley and Xander live.
More soon - time to "go" get some ice cream with my pack....

My pack deserted me on Sunday for some place called Disneyland. They've done this to me before.
I don't like it.
Every time they go, they wake me up really early in the morning (on a weekend no less!), and that device that makes a shrill ringing noise that causes the humans to talk loudly into it (even though nobody's talking back to them) makes a lot of racket. They pet me a lot and usually give me a bone and I get so distracted by the bone that I don't realize they've gone away until after I've finished the bone.
The only good thing about these trips is that I get to see Mama and play with her for a while because she lives right across the complex from my pack.
My pack finally returned after it'd been dark for a while, and they had all these strange-smelling bags and funny-looking things on their heads (they called them "ears" but they don't look like any that I've ever seen!)
The next day, my male human left one of the bags on the floor after he left for that "work" place he goes to, and I got to take a peek. There were these shiny long packages that smelled like something edible, but then I found this little net pouch filled with shiny round things that just smelled too good to ignore. I only meant to taste one, but before I knew it, I'd eaten all of them!
My female human came home later, and didn't seem happy that I'd eaten these round things. Next time, I'll remember to eat the shiny paper too so then she won't know what I did....
