Favorite Toy:
his cat, Pitch

Favorite Food:
bully sticks

Favorite Walk:
Fort Funston (Funstuff!)

Arrival Story:
I got Cowboy when he was two. I adopted this crazy Australian Triangule Shepherd from a wonderful rescue down in Santa Cruz. Cowboy was brought the a shelter in Watsonville, CA with a leg that was so badly deformed that he was unable to walk on it. Some say the leg was like this due to neglect from his previous owner. The shelter was going to put him to sleep, but a rescue stepped in and saved Cowboy. The rescue got him surgery to amputate the bum leg and fostered him until he was ready for adoption. He recovered from his amputation very quickly (taking the leg off actually made it easier to get around) and eventually found a forever home where he is loved very much and spoiled rotten. Don't worry about the leg, this is one of the happiest dogs you'll ever meet.
