Arrival Story:
When mommy was working at Sprint, she had a coworker and friend named "Scott" in OCS (Officer Candidate School). Coincidentally, one of the candidates is a Yorkie breeder, so she decided to give up one of the pups for the rafle. I believe that they ended up raising a whopping
$ 3000. Each rafle ticket was sold for 30 bucks and mommy bought 3 tickets. Most of the tickets that Scott was selling got sold, however, he had a few tickets left and he decided to buy the rest himself. When it was time to pick the new owner out of the hat...SURPRISE, SURPRISE....mommy's ticket didn't get picked
:(...but instead, they picked out Scott's ticket. The next morning, mommy get a call from our mutual friend Gin asking me if she was ready to be a new mommy for a precious pup? Since she always wanted a Yorkie, of course she said "YES" (I think that was one of her luckiest day ever.. I'd tell you...she never wins anything :P)... so as soon as she hung up the phone, she rushed to Petco and went dog shopping for the first time :) Today... Toby and mommy are best buds!!!

Mommy found this cool Meetup website (www.meetup.com) on the internet the other day and found a DC-Metro Yorkshire Terrier Meetup Group. So, she asked me if I wanted to meet some new pup friends and of course I said "WOOF" if you don't know what that means, it means "YES".
We are having our first Meetup Day this Saturday, May 20th. It will be held at the Baron Cameron Dog Park. I am very excited, it will be my first experience at the dog park and interacting with other doggies.
I will let you know how it goes :P
