Finding Maggie

I had been looking for an unaltered female Goldendoodle, which is a cross between a purebred Golden Retriever and a Poodle, on Craigslist.com in the pets department under Communities. I happened upon the listing for Maggie just before the previous owner was flagged for what others considered selling pets. The listing said there was a rehoming fee which is not against the rules but the people who have nothing else to do but flag kept deleting his listing. A few days later my hubby and I went to see Maggie and fell in love with her. She is so full of life and has alot of love to give and loves to be loved in return. She has such a great time fetching, that is if the alpha dog Millie, who is a miniture Australian Shepherd allows her to. We brought Maggie home (5-13-06) and soon learned that the training collar must be on Millie rather than Maggie for awhile until Millie decides she isn't going to be so aggressive towards Maggie. I know they need to find there pecking order, as my daughter says, but with the grandsons coming every now and then we can't have unleashed aggression going on. We have only had Maggie for parts of 4 days but so far she has become the new joy in our life, even my hubby who isn't such a pet lover, thoroughly enjoys her. The pictures I have posted so far are from the previous owner, for which were taken quite recently.
