ITS MY BIRTHDAY!

YAY, ITS MY BIRHTDAY!! I wish mommy was here but oh well, at least I got to hear her on the phone!

Woohoo

YAY, mommy is comming home in 2 weeks and 6 says from college. I got to go see her at college last weekend and I was soooo excited when she saw me. Tomarrow is my birthday and she wont be here to celebrate with me! :( but she told my grandmommy and grandaddy to make it good for me. I miss her sooooooo much. Not too much longer, just hold on!!

Gone, gone, gone!!

My mommy left me today to go to college. That means I have to stay with my granparents until she comes back. I am so sad. My aunt and uncle came to stay with me while everyone is gone to help mommy move in. My cousins came too which was fun! I still miss her terribly. And guess where I sleep now? I sleep on a dog bed! pathetic isn't it!! I miss cuddling with mommy in bed!! well I guess i have to get used to it just like mommy has to get used to college. I hope she misses me too.

To the Vet

Today, Mommy took me to work with her. She is a tech assistant at my doctors office. She put me in the back runs and left me all by myself. She told me not to bark because I am very loud. When she left me I tried my hardest to be good. I only wined a few times!!! Mommy visited me several times throughout the days and gave me a treat!! Then she finally let me out after what seemed forever(actually only 4 1/2 hours). But I didn't go home right away. This stranger, who was very nice, stuck a q-tip in my ears. Then she stuck something else you know where. It was completely violating!! Then Dr. Briley came and looked in my ears and listened to my heart. Whew, I'm glad thats all over and now I'm home resting beside my Mommy. What a day!

She's Back!!

I was so excited when I saw my Mommy packing for a trip. I just new this was going to be so much fun. But, for some reason Mommy looked very sad. She kept on petting me and telling me she loved me. Then right when I was about to get in the car she put me in the pen (where I never go) and said she would be back in 4 days. I was heartbroken and started yelping. And the worst part of it was that my Mommy's cousin, Peter, took care of me!! I moped around and thought she was never going to come back. I looked for her everywhere, she wasn't in the kennel, or the dog house, of the water bowl, she wasn't even in our bed. Then, when I was asleep in the pen, she drove up with all of my aunt's and Uncle's and my grand-parents and she let me out. I was so happy to see her! I was very upset when i smelt another dog on her. It smelt like my cousin Biscuit. I was left out of all the fun. Mommy told me I had been a good girl and that she would have most definately have taken me if there had been room in the car. Oh well, I was just so happy she was home. I was very nasty from staying outside for that long so mommy had to give me a Bath. oh well , it was worth it to see mommy again!!!

graduation fun!!!

My mommy graduated from high school last friday. It was not all all fun for me though because when all her friends came over, i was put up. Later though she let me out and i got to take pictures with her!!! I felt like a star. Then i got to go to sand creek and play with my 1st cousin once removed. Just in case you didn't get that, i didn't either when my mommy told me. Biscuit is my great unlcle's daughter. She is s springer just like me!!! We had so much fun romping through the march grass and i showed biscuit how to swim in the creek by mommy said she is too little to swim with me. It was fun being the oldest for once. I am so puckered from this weekend i think i might sleep for a week. Or at least a few hours!!

No tipping please!

My mommy took me on my first kayaking trip today. I was a little scared with it wobbling so easily but i got used to it. I decided to lie down in the back and take a nap cause boy did i need one. My uncle tried to tip the kayak over with the big boat but he never did. thank goodness!!! he did get us, my mommy, and me a little wet which was kinda fun!!!

Family's the best!

This weekend, all my mom's family came to edisto to play. Even my mom's sister brought her dogs, my cousins to play with me. I had so much fun and ran, ran, ran with my cousin, Toogi, a lab who is only two weeks younger than me. We had so much fun together and got so dirty in the pluff mud. Mommy said i looked like a boykin spaniel I was sooo dirty!!!

No, Not the Razar!!!!

Mom decided to give me a haircut today!!!! I was sooooo scared but it didn't hurt a bit. I also got a nail trim. I look really pretty now. Mom said i am the prettiest girl in the world!!! Then I got to go outside and play with a stick. I loooovvvveee sticks...

To the Market

I took Lina to the Charleston, SC Market for the first time this past weekend. We went with my two brothers and one of their girlfriends. As we were walking through the Market, Lina stopped to say hi to everyone. She thinks everyone loves her. She seemed very interested in the sweetgrass baskets. Everytime we walked by a booth with baskets she had to stop and sniff. She is sssoooo cute!
