Well, my little sister Rileigh, I want you to know that I've been watching you and I've never been more proud of you than I was today. For anyone reading this, check out Rileigh's diary for today and you will see how my little sister saved a dog's life.
You know, for the three years of your life that you were with me, there were times when you truly were a little pest, but I always loved you and admired your personality because you were the one who ADORED everyone and everything. You don't have one mean little bone in your body.
All these years I've protected you and watched out for you because you are my little sister and only half my size. But today I realized that you really are fine on your own. You did good today, kid! You didn't hesitate, you were strong, and you didn't hold any grudges to those who stuck you with that big needle. What you did instead was go kiss them with all those sloppy puppy kisses of yours, wagging your tail all the time that they hugged you and kissed you. You're #1. You've saved a life today and kept four little puppies from being orphans. I never did that in all of my eight years on earth. I really do love you, Rileigh, and am so proud of my little sister!
I made this poem for you, and I hope you remember it all through your life:
From a little pesky puppy to a beautiful girl you grew,
And all those years I nurtured you I always knew
That you had a heart so big and full of love for all -
All of God's creatures, be they big or be they small.
I never saw a puppy give as much love to all as you,
You'd make everyone around you happy, even when they were blue!
Your wiggly butt, your crazy snear,
Your eyes full of love and your curly ears
All made people love you as much as I do.
My little sister, Rileigh, there could never be another you!
Never let your heart be dampened, let it always be filled with love,
Let everyone keep adoring you as I do here above!
Always hold your head up high, and to yourself be true -
My beautiful little sister, there never will be another you!
I'm with you always, Rileigh, and I'll be watching over you. I love you more than you ever could know.

Well, I've been at Rainbow Bridge for almost three weeks now and I'm really getting the hang of it here. It is so WONDERFUL! I really miss my Mommy, but I can see her and keep tabs on her and my little sister, Rileigh, who misses me so much.
Because I was also such a sweet boy on earth (this is what I was told) and let everyone into my house, even other male dogs, that my job here at Rainbow Bridge is to keep an eye on new puppies that are born on earth and to promise to try to make friends with them and protect them. All they have to do is bark my name, and I will be there for them. I am what is called a doggie GUARDIAN ANGEL and I am truly enjoying my job. I only wish that more pups would answer my call when I want to help them. I have tried to contact so many of them, but only a few respond. Guess not everyone wants a guardian angel....not even little (or big) puppies. But my job is to ask if they do, and when they do, I'll never leave them. I cannot make any choose to have a guardian angel if they do not want to.
Through dogster, I am also finding a lot of friends who have also come to Rainbow Bridge and I am running and playing with them. We are as good as new....just like when we were in our prime with no sickness or any health problems. We talk about our humans and how much they miss us, and with our special powers that we now have, we can send whispers to them. Whispers are when our humans think they saw us, or felt us, or even just thought about us. This is us contacting them, and it makes them happy. We will NEVER FORGET them or never stop LOVING THEM and we await the time when they will be with us again.
So, while you are still young and healthy little puppies, please check into having a doggie guardian angel to watch over you. I love all puppies!

Hi, I'm Bailey, and I left my home in Florida to make the instant trip to the Rainbow Bridge 18 days ago. It was not a hard journey for me at all, quite the contrary. I have travelled thousands of miles on earth with my Mom. I was quite the little traveller! I really enjoyed those trips, but this was the BEST TRIP OF MY LIFE!
Instantly, my cancer was gone, I was exactly the way I was before I ever got sick, and was able to run and play, jump and roll over - no pain whatsover and boy, such energy!
My trip, however, was much harder on my Mommy, which makes me sad, but I now know things that she doesn't. I know that it is beautiful here and that we are healthy, in our prime, having a blast just waiting for those we love to join us. There is no pain, no saddness, only joy and happiness and love abounding.
We can even "whisper" to our Moms and Dads, so if your beloved dog has left you and sometimes, out of the blue, you think of him/her, it is because he has whispered to you. If you close your eyes, you will be able to see him just as he was when with you, and here his bark, feel his fur, and most importantly, feel his love!
I want all Moms and Dads to know that although we don't live as long as they do, we have 1,000 times more love in us to give than the average human, so we don't have to try for as long to make humans very happy. And that whenever we leave them on earth, that we really haven't left them at all. While we are so happy at the Rainbow Bridge waiting for them, we 'see' them on earth and as I said, we can even whisper to them. If they try real hard, they, too, can see us. Yes, it is true that they can no longer hug us or take us on walks, etc. until we meet up again, but I can even hear my Mommy telling my little sister Rileigh, "Can't you just see Bailey here with us?" so even my little cocker spaniel sister knows that I'm still around and will always be a part of her life.
OUR LOVE NEVER DIES!
