The first time this happened was after having Jorj about a month.
He was completey settled in and knew where everything was and was real relaxed like he had lived there all his life.

The doorbell goes and a friend of mine had come over and we were going to go out. Jorj was interested at who was here and to get some attention and brought his fave ball over for my friend to throw. So Jorj is all happy chewing on his ball and throwing it and almost playing soccer with it. When bang down goes his tail and he goes into light speedrunning around in a circle, belts across the living room floor leaps over the coffee table lands between me and my friend to bounce over my friend back onto the floor, tears off flying up the stairs runs around comes flying back down the stairs at full velocity into the living room again to leap over me onto the couch again and land next to my friend. I was stunned at what just happened and my friend had to ask me if the dog was on drugs lol.

The tail down Husky boogy as I have seen it called on here happens at random times to this day and still cracks me up when he does it......

Did someone say Wolf

I can not understand peoples fear of wolves as there have been no known attacks on humans by wolves!

The amount of people that see us coming or me being pulled by his highness, as he chases a smell. So many people ask me if he is a wolf or cross the street or turn around at haste, when he is the sweetest dog around......

One night I was walking him and for what appeared to be no reason something ahead in the dark had his attention. He started huffing and blowing himself up as if some dog was in his town. As we approached he started to do the Husky wail as they do not bark very well and for someone who has not heard a Husky bark aka wail can be a little disturbing lol. I am trying to calm him down at the shape he had seen up ahead and as it turned out it was a traffic cone, too which he quickly peed on as a sign of his ownership and carried on like nothing had happened lol.

Wow what can I say...
I have loved these dogs for years and probably started when I saw the movie Lost Boysa and watched Due South (need to contact the trainer of that dog lol). I moved from the UK to the US about 7 years ago and finally had the chance to own a dog again about a year ago.

I had dogs before mainly strays rescue, from Jack Russells to Old English Sheep dogs. I decide a Siberian was to be for me and set out reading as much as I could about the breed.

Then using the good old www I found several Husky rescue sites and worked with them to find the right dog for me. Jorj (George) was the third Husky I met.
The first time I saw him at his Foster parents home, I was in awe at his character and woo woos of vocal pleasure. I took him for a walk he was real good, crate trained and house trained and basci commands. I spent a good day with him and decided he was for me. So the next day I picked him up and took him home........... For personality and facial expressions I have never known a dog like it and he constantly amuses me with his ways.

He likes to talk and let you now when he wants something and if you don't get it he practically huffs in dissatisfaction and looks at you from the corner of his eye. Running with him can sometimes be a complete comedy of error as he picks up a wiff of something and hunkers down and drags you back the 3 blocks you just went so he can know where it came from and went.

I get nothing but compliments on him and he gets constant attention where ever we go..........
