trouble on 4 paws

scrappy -10 years of mischeif

Well, diary, I'm 10 years old, and this is my 1st entry. I do enjoy trouble,not minding my owners,and running after anything! Even at my age,I'm proud to say, I can still leave Mom frustrated and looking at my waving banner of a tail as I take off after whatever smells good!
But,as I've gotten older, I do give them a break once in a while, I actually decide to come back in about a 1/2 hour or so- I guess I don't have quite the energy I used to. I long for the days when i could just run forever, till they managed to cath up with me and trick me into the car with the promise of a ride(dang! works every time!)
And then there's my long,luscious tongue! I've had nicknames like"anteater", I don't think it;s insulting at all, why, when I feel like it, I sit real nice for an unsuspecting guest in the home to lean over, pet me,and say,"what a nice little AGAGH!" I think that last part is usually a super nice name for me, b/c I'm making my move, leaping straight up,aiming for the persons mouth,and licking!
I'm also called trouble on 4 paws, but I can't see why,those kids I live with(and for) are way noisier than I am! And when I sit really close to them at the dinner table, it's not to be troublesome, it's to keep the floor clean! Far be it from me to let a piece of food hit the floor and mess it up!
Those people just don't get it- I can sit(sometimes) when they ask real nice, or stay(sometimes) when they have a trea, but only if I want to!
So that's my only diary entry of my whole life-I'm usually far too busy keeping the cats in line,and playing board games with my kids!
