Obsessed,and I don't care!

Well,as Mom writes this entry,I'm standing right nearby,on my(very short) back legs, so I can watch Plumpy the hamster run on his wheel. If only that cage were at my eye level, life would be simpler!
Ever since they brought him home a few weeks ago,I feel so lucky! I just can't believe there's a creature on this earth so incredibly fascinating! So I sit and watch,and watch,and watch!
And when I'm not in the room, I run back about every 10-15 minutes,all day long,for my "hamster check!"
I tried to bite him once,but got in major trouble with the folks,so now I'm not allowed to go too close to him.
Other than that,I'm just a ray of sunshine,other than the way I growl at everyone and everything. usually it means"Hey! Glad to see you!" But Mom has tried to explain to me that most people assume I'm 100% horrible,(instead of 75% horrible) when I know I'm only being sociable! (In my own wierd way)
But I'm a year old,and my people know and love me,and when they get tired of my attitude, they pop me in my smelly(I love it!) crate for a nap....

Family visits

Well, we had such a busy week here! My moms sister,came to visit Grammas house,and they have 5 kids,and 5 dogs! 4 pekes,and one fluffy pomeranian! Wow! Mom wouldn't let me meet the doggies personally,since I'm still working on my *interdog* skills..... but i got to meet the whole family! i liked all the kids a lot, I barked at them a little, but i got used to them pretty quickly and made friends, but when Mom had a BIG family party one night,I was very out of sorts!(Mom said it was psycho dog stuff) so i had to stay in the bedroom,till Mom can further help me not to be scared of strangers.Mom has a pretty big family!
I loved going for long walks in the woods with all the cousins,I really love to run,jump and climb. I'm about 8 1/2 -9 pounds,(mom says I'm huge!) and can go for long distances with no effort at all! Mom also calls me her toothy princess,since i have some cool looking bottom teeth,dad says I have lots of character!
My life is good, I love my sister scrappy,and my humans take good care of me. My favorite thing in the world is chasing my tiny tennis ball for hours on end,and surprising Mom in the morning by jumping on the bed,and sticking my cold wet nose on her face and kissing her! Well, I'm busy playing wrstle with scrappy,so I don't have much time to write. And i forgot to mention, my cats make the BEST play toys! I am entertained by them for hours!

My lawsuit against libel (just a joke, moms brother,for some- reason, thinks I'm a brat,here's my"deposition")

So...a little voice on the wind came to me, while I was out in the yard, doing my duty, that a certain,oh,shall we say...lawyer-type has been spreading...shall we say,libel against my character in various towns locally.
Ahem.
Need I remind said lawyer character that in the absence of actual evidence,say,bloody fingers, he has no proof that any of said hearsay is actually true.
LET the record show that on this date October 22 2006,in the year of our lord, that I,Tinkerbell, (otherwise known as the cute and mighty one) have filed a grievance with the higher courts on this matter.
LET the record show that I was polite till pushed beyond the limits of decency by a certain lawyerish type,(those types are known to be avid button pushers anyway,but I digress)
LET the record show that I Tink(otherwise known as the little angel) am willing to be reasonable on this,as in all matters. I will accept chocolate given to my mom as penance for the aforementioned evil slander rendered against my character,or in the absence of such sorrowful acts of contrition, I will demand public whippings for such as do not comply with my first demand.(I mean, request)
Being only a human,and a lawyer at that, if you need further clarification regarding this matter,please feel free to call 1-800-I dont do no dogwhispering.

...a note of explanation, Uncle Steve,moms brother,is a lawyer,and was hassling me,(he thinks he's a dog whisperer) and I was being,well, not nice in response to him-then he had the nerve to complain to my Gramma and say I behaved badly! So I sued!(haha)

toothy goodness

Well, One of my nicknames is the shark, folks say it's beacuse of my incredible underbite,and all my lovely crooked teeth! Well, i must admit to those things,and I think it makes very special indeed! a face only my mother could love!
My favorite new activity is standing on the couch and barking at everything that goes by the house, I'm an awesome watchdog!
I also love my screaming monkey toy, it plays with me no matter what!

Just me

Well, I'm 7 months,almost 8 months old now! I'm becoming a well trained dog, though I sometimes forget myself,and get fresh. Mom weighed me ,and i weigh 8 pounds! mom says she knew when i came home as tiny little 2 pound pup, that this is how big I would be. She's good!
Mom has to buy me a new sweater,b/c my chihuahua blood means i get cold easily- I outgrew all the other ones she bought! right now I'm getting stuffed into my Pikachu sweatshirt,and I don't appreciate it!
So, I am going for lots of walks with my gentle leader harness,and Mom says I pull much less now, I have no choice!(grumble) I saw some cranky cows today,and then I had to take a bath with grammas special Woodsprites soapery all natural soap.... Mom says I smell great now, but i prefer old dog spit myself. Scrappy and i wrestle about a millin times a day,it's great to have a best friend!

I'm all grown up!

Well, my best friend Pierre hollered at Mom and told me to write a new entry,so here it is!
I don't know why my picture says I'm 5 months old, I'm almost 7 months old! I went to the vet for an 'operation',I don't know what that is, but I didn't like that vet person one bit!
I've been in training with Mom, she says I'm "high strung", I just say I'm a very choosy dog! I am getting less scared of meeting new people, and this makes Mom happy- I have some cool doggie friends, and my boy is training me with lots of treats all the time!
I love playing catch with my mini tennis ball, I love it more than treats now!
I also love sleeping in and dragging my little pink cat bed around the house,and wrestling with Scrappy!
I now weigh almost 8 pounds, I think it's all muscle, I'm pretty fit,as i walk with Mom almost daily for a mile or 2,that's pretty far for a 6 inch tall dog!
Mom still calls me her beautifu blonde, or "ugsly pugsly..." I'm no pug, but I kinda' look like one.....
oh, Now that I'm all grown, I have the cutest underbite and shark looking teeth ever! Mom says all the best looking doggies have teeth like me!

All my flaws and fabulous qualities!

Well, Mom is discovering new things about me as the weeks go by- I'm almost 14 weeks, and boy have I grown! I grew from 2 pounds 2 ounces at 7 weeks to 4 1/2 pounds this week, Mom says I'm like one of those super growing-in-water toys! I've doubled my weight and size ,and my age!
I am totally smart,and go potty outside all the time! I also sit so nicely when I'm commanded, and I come most of the time when I'm called...
But Mom says I need to be less afraid of strange big dogs,I shouldn't get too snarly, I think I can beat up the world! So I'm learning,and I'm also learning how to be nice to the youngest human in our house, b/c sometimes I can be very fresh.
So i'm shaping up to be quite a dog,and I'm keeping my big sister Scrappy young and playful!
Today I got a big new crate, and I'll sleep all by myself in the living room, no problem,I'm a good girl at bedtime!
I love visiting as many places as possible with my family,I love car rides!

My weigh -in

well, Mom and kids weigh me every week on my birthday. Today, the 8th of June,I'm 11 weeks old! Last week, i gained a whole 1/2 pound! this week, I gained 4 ounces, Mom felt this was a more ladylike gain... I now weigh,drumroll, 3 and a 1/2 pounds! tadah! And I've learned how to leap UP steps- oh, I am getting so huge, I'm going to take over the world! Mom still thinks I'm the most beautiful blonde, whose nose and tail got dipped in black paint.

Wild Thing

That's what I am! I am 2 1/2 pounds, and i think I can take over the world! When Mom lets anyone else help watch me, I go nuts! She knows my schedule,and what I need, but i can fool my aunties into letting me do naughty things a lot!yesterday, I climbed over my baby gate to chase Scrappy, pooped on the rug when i did that,just for fun... decided to LAUNCH myself off the back deck, flew about 6 feet down,(thank goodness it was mud I landed in) and took off running! The kids out back tried to help Mom catch me, but when they got me,I howled and growled and tried to nip their hands,till Mom got to me,when i instantly quieted down. AAAh,I AM a naughty girl!
It's a good thing I'm so adorable! And that my mom understands puppies just have to be bad sometimes! Because she'll catch me in the act of being bad, scoop me up,and I melt her heart with my big brown eyes!

That was tough...

Well, I went to my new home last night, it was so hard to leave my family,3 brothers and sisters,and a whole lot of other rescue doggies....I howled ALL the way home! I am so-o-o good at that! I may be little,only 2 pounds right now, but I can holler!
Once I got home, it was all cool though- I met Scrappy,she doesn't like me too much yet,but I know we'll be best friends soon! Those cats are kind of suspicious of me also, but I LOVE them!
the best thing? I have my own crate now,and I love it more than anything! Mom gave me a pink blanket,and a stuffed lion(which I sleep with) and a greenie bone!(I love this a lot)
I've never stepped in the grass before this, and at first I did the "chihauha shake"- but Mom keeps bringing me out, and after the 3rd time,I started going potty out there,and Mom is so happy! I must be so smart,in addition to being cute...
Oh, another thing, there was fierce competition in my old home for food,one big bowl,and I was the smallest, and always on the losing end- but here? Mom gives me my own, super healthy puppy mix, Yum! I shake all over with delight, because i don't have to beat anyone to it anymore! Now I'll probably get very chubby for a while...
Mom says my other owners were cool though, because I'm so well socialized,and used to noise,so I don't get startled easily,and sleep even with people around me. Last night I slept all night in my crate without a peep,(Mom put me next to her bed, Dad's snoring kept me happy) and then I did my business when I yapped Mom awake at 5:30! I AM so smart!
And my favorite new thing? Snuggling with mom,and just breathing in her neck while she cuddles me,I love it!
