Happy Birthday to Me!

Well, I am now lucky 13! Yesterday was my birthday. Mom says I'm doing real good for a "mature" pup. Legs a bit stiff in the morning, those stairs are not always easy to navigate, but all in all, I am in pawsome shape.

I woke early this morning, everyone was so excited, so I got all excited too. I got a new baby! It's a bobo from Petsmart, it looks like a snowman. I spent a good deal of the morning trying to tear it's face off, but it is holding up pretty good despite my efforts BOL~

Mom and I hope everyone and every pup have a great day and take a moment to think about the pawsitive things in each of our lives, and to remember the true meaning of the season.

OMD! What an HONOR!

OMD, we just found out...I'm dog of the week. WOW! We have no idea how that happens, but we are so honored and flattered! Mom is being a total spaz, she keeps giving me head rubs and loves. I'm trying to nap here!

We have already received some very nice messages and gifts. Dogster pups are so completely pawesome. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Here are my pawsome facts:

1 - When my very first mom got me, she called me Toby. She had read my papers wrong. Toby was my dad. BOL

2 - I have a fairly pronounced underbite, I have a hard time scooping up small food pellets, so moms started feeding me soft food. Mmmmm, I love my soft food! I recently lost two of my bottom teefs. At first, mom was sad, she said it messed up my pretty smile, but she still thinks I'm adorable.

3 - I get shampooed in the kitchen sink, with puppy shampoo that smells like pina colada. How sexy is that?!

4 - I love my collar. I feel naked without it. When mom tries to put it on, I give it kisses.

5 - I like to sit in my doggy door with my head propped up on the edge. It's comfy!

6 - I DO NOT like doggy clothing. Moms tried to get me to wear some when I was a puppy. The arms of the sweaters and things made me bend my legs and that hurt. So, no clothes for me, even though that makes mom sad. She said pets in sweaters are so cute. Whatever.

7 - I do not like to share. Sorry, I'm selfish. I love my babies (toys) and do not want to share. When someone tries to take one away, I get all anxious and whine. I feel better having them where I can see them and get to them when I want. I often corral them all up in one place, so I can see them all. Or sometimes I leave one in each of my favorite spots. Mom thinks I'm silly, I think I'm just a planner.

Just home from a shave and a hair cut!

Moms took me to PetSmart to get groomed. Boy do I feel like a new dog! Mom had the nice lady cut me really really REALLY short! I feel almost bald! But it as like really hot today, and it feels great to not have all that hair on me. I got a new baby too! I little green and white alligator. It makes all kinds of squeeky noises, and I love it! Mom says it looks like i'm giving it CPR, I dont know what that means, I just know if I push it's tummy it squeeks!!

My other mom is giving me some bacon bits, she says I deserve some treats because the lady said I was very good, and didn't get snippy when she cut my toenails and brushed my teeth! My moms were very proud of me.

I got a bright orange PetSmart bandana. Mom thought it was going to be a patriotic one, but orange looks good on me, so it's ok. It was a good day!

Got An Appointment w/ My Hairdresser!

I am going for a bath and a haircut on Wednesday. Mom is takin me to a new groomer, at Petsmart. We had a bad experience at my normal groomer. I'll report in how things go.

Achy Breaky Legs

It's tough getting to be an older guy. My legs are really bothering me lately. It hurts when I jump off the beds, but I just have to cuddle with my human moms. I guess it makes it worth it, but I think i'm just going to lay on my pillow with my blanket for a little while and hope I feel better a bit later.
