Arrival Story:
Talia was a rescue dog and I fostered her for only two days before I fell in love with her. She was pretty sickly and I had to nurse her back to health. She was a happy healthy girl dog for the last several years until she crossed over the bridge due to GME. Poor Talia was only 3 years old when she died.

Bio:
Talia was a stray dog, found in central CA. Since I adopted her through German Shepherd Rescue of Northern CA, she had earned her CGC certificate and also had two AKC herding titles. Talia was happiest when she was outdoors and in motion. She loved to learn. Her life ended suddenly due to auto immune disease and she is now herding sheep in a much happier place.

Talia's 9th Birthday

Thanks everyone for remembering my sweet Talia's birthday. She was a very special dog and loved to train. She was lightning fast and I loved to herd sheep with her. Tali was the easiest dog to train because she loved to learn new behavior.
She could be dog aggressive, but after working with her and a behaviorist she learned to get along with other dogs. She lived for the ball and I'm sure she's catching lots of heavenly tennis balls in mid-air in the clouds....and catching any pesky squirrels too. She would have been 9 yrs. old today, but left us too soon at age 3. She will always have a special place in my heart.

Happy Birthday Talia!

Today is my 8th earthly birthday! We're celebrating here with angel food cake and ice cream too. I got a big new pair of wings and I'm flying high. I wish I could celebrate with my family, but I am watching over them every day. My Mom and Dad will be sending me good wishes and prayers. I am happy now and can run like the wind!
