Bio:
Lucy's full name is Lucille Belle Keilstrup. She is named this for two reasons. The first reason is that I love Lucille Ball. The second reason is that I think Lucy from C.S. Lewis' "Chronicles of Narnia" has such a sweet spirit and when I first met Lucy she was was so full of love just like Lucy from the book that I thought that it was the perfect name for her.

Being a girl stinks. I just got my very first period. It's aweful. I have to wear this stupid looking diaper around all the time. I hate it because I can't just pee in the house whenever I wan't. I also can't go to the dog park like I usually do because mommy says she doesn't want me to lose my "flower". I sure hope this is over with soon.

About a week ago my mom pet sat for one of her co-workers. She looked after a Beagle named Snickers. My mom's co-worker said it would be OK if I went over to play! Snickers and I had so much fun! We ran all over and wrestled! We took a nap together and snuggled! It's so nice to have a close girlfriend! My friend Josh and I are close, but I can't talk about my nails and bad fur days with him like I can with Snickers. I miss her. I hope we can play again soon!

Today my mom took me to the dog park. Usually I love it there. I can run and play with all the fun dogs! But, today there was this mean boston terrier named Sadie. She would bark and snap at me and I didn't like it. Her human told my mom that she just liked to play rough and that my mom should just let me bite her to show her it was not OK. I liked his plan, but my mom didn't think it was a good idea. We left so that I wouldn't be scared anymore. Hopefully the next time we go the dogs will all be friendly.
