Most of all Trout likes to swim - then comes ice cream cones, then frisbee and of course ANY kind of human food - even his veggies!

Pet-Peeves:
THE VACUUM and being left behind - he HAS to go with! He also hates getting a bath - he loves water and swimming, but hates the bath!

Favorite Toy:
Frisbee! And he is very protective of the frisbee! He loves his raw hide bone and he loves a treat-stuffed kong especially if it's stuffed with peanut butter!

Favorite Food:
Nutro - Large Breed - oh and any kind of treat!

Favorite Walk:
The walk to the dog park! He can barely contain himself!

Best Tricks:
Despite his HIGH food drive, he can sit and stay with a treat resting on his nose for up to 5 minutes or so. He can also come, lay, sit, stay, roll, shake, kiss kiss, lay w/ head down...

Arrival Story:
My husband and I found Trout completely by accident. We were set on another breeder and had been on the wait list for about 6 months when tragically, the entire litter died. I thought that if maybe we just went to look at a couple of other litters/breeders, we would feel better about moving forward with getting a pup. I just happened upon his litter on the AKC website and we drove out that same night. We laid eyes on Trout and knew right away, he was the one!

Bio:
Trout is such a great dog. I have a hard time calling him just a dod because he seems like so much more than that; a companion, a friend, a pillow, the best welcome-home-greeter and of all other beings, the one who tries to understand me the MOST! Just look at that head tilt when I say something he hasn't heard before! He is so tender and sweet and loves to give anyone a "kiss kiss". He plays well with other dogs and loves children. He is a NATURAL swimmer and would sooner drown than voluntarily get out of the water. He continues to be the best dog my husband and I have ever had.
