Arrival Story:
He and his sister showed up at my husbands work one day, they would show up as all the guys were leaving and would leave in the morning when they opened the gates. One day his sister was hit by a MTA Bus crossing the street. After that he stuck around and would hang out with the security guards. Some ladies that worked for another company on the site took him to the vet for shots and neutering. He supposedly bit someone so the management were going to take him to the pound. My husband asked if we could bring him home and I was hesitant because he seemed aggressive, but my husband assured me that Lucky would be okay and if not we would take him to the pound.
Bio:
The first day we had him I put him in the car and took him to the groomers for a bath. I knew he was a good dog when he put his head in my lap on the way. As it turns out, he is not aggressive, just very shy around new people and is also protective. If you give him treats...he's your new best friend. He is very animal aggressive, but I think that comes from living on the streets and having to fight for what he needed. We think he and his sister were abandoned because he was house broken
He was not thrilled about the cat, but they co-existed without killing each other.

I suppose my name is common for a lot of rescue and pound dogs, as is the reason for it. That tall chick that gives me food said I am lucky to be alive. And to tell you the truth, after all the crap I have been doing the last year I AM. I am called Lucky Luciano after the Mobster since that tall dude that also gives me food is Italian. Had they taken some time to get to know me I probably would have been named something like Kangaroo or Speedy.
Lately I have been called things like Dog Head (because the cute little chick that loves to give me food won't let them call me D!@k Head) Dog Face (can't call me F#*k Face in front of the little chick) and Stinky PooPoo Dog. Is it MY fault they gave me that huge meaty cow leg bone and it started to get funky? I'm sorry I pooped on the carpet, I had a tummy ache!
