Arrival Story:
My boyfriend Mark and I were on vacation in Sarasota and, on a whim, went to the local Petsmart to see the rescue animals. We absolutly fell in love with this small mix named Phoebe. However, since we weren't from that county they wouldn't let us adopt her. Mark was heartbroken and sooo sad that we had to say good bye to her. So when we got back to Tallahassee we went out to a local farm to see the very last puppy that the farmer had from his dog's litter. Well there was Zoe being kept in a dirty horse trailor and completely covered in horse straw and fleas. Her little eyes plead for us to get her out of there! So we took her home and, after a lengthy vet visit, found out she had every parasite known to man. Hookworms and tapeworms, fleas and ticks, ear mites and roundworms (oh my!). "No wonder she was so docile the first day...she had no energy because of all the bugs!" our vet said. Well now she is healthy and happy and we are so glad to make her the first canine member of our family! She has really gotten attached to Mark and follows him around whenever she can. The two are inseperable...its so cute!

*UPDATE* My mommy and daddy thought that my dog daddy was a shephard but now that I am older it appears that he was a golden retriever! I have a pretty red/gold coat and a ong fluffy tail!
