OMG! I have a boyfriend!

So today was crazy for me. Mom took me to her school so her friends could practice on me, and there was this Chihuahua there. He was so different from all the other dogs. Before I left we were an "item". Mom says I'm robbing the cradle, but I'm spayed so I don't see what the big deal is.

Mommy and Grandma took me to this guy with this big black thing that flashes. They got all dressed up and they put my special pink collar on. In three weeks we should be getting something in the mail and they are going to get frames to put them in. I have no idea what is going on but mommy was so proud of how i posed, she took me to the mall to get me special doggy treats from the barkery.

Skunked!

Last night grandma let me out and I got sprayed by a skunk. She washed me real well but the house still smells kind of funky. Yesterday mom took me to eisenhower park and we started running! mom is all excited about this because she wants to burn more calories when she exercises.

BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!

I had my own party! Now I know what a birthday is! A whole bunch of people came to eat all the food grandma and mom made. Then there was this special doggie cake I got to eat after everyone sang the birthday song to me. And the best part was all the wonderful presents! I got chewies, a toy (Lucky claimed it) and a brand new pink collar with sparkly bones all over it. Everyone told me how pretty I looked. Everything was pink and perfect. Thanks to everyone who made it to the party and a special thank you to everyone who gave me such awesome presents! I can't wait till next year when I get another Birthday party!

Something Big

So mommy keeps singing this "birthday song" to me and everyone in this house is acting funny. I got shaved today so I'd look extra pretty and grandma bought a LOT of food, like, way more than the people in this house could eat. Mom and Dad put up this canopy thing in the backyard. What the hell is going on?

New word

What is this "Birthday" I'm hearing now? It must be something good, cuz mommy keeps talking to me about it, has some big plans in mind by the way she is acting.

Bark in Eisenhower Park

What an amazing walk today! Mommy and Daddy took us back to the place where they had the Bow Wow Meow Luau, only this time, we went hiking on the trails. Some parts were rough terrain, and other parts were paved but either way it was a long hard walk. Lucky had to be carried towards the end but he did so good that Mommy wants to start walking him to Cathedral Rock with me whenever we go. Everyone is all pooped out, I think I'll take a nice long nap after such an awesome workout!

Clean

Mommy and Daddy had these tickets for free dog washes. They were all excited, I wasn't, either was Lucky. So we went to this place and they tied me up on this table thing and sprayed water and soap all over me. At least it was mommy who was washing me and not some stranger, all the same, it really sucked. Lucky nearly hung himself trying to get off the table. We were both glad when the experience was over. I hope they never do that again. Everyone keeps saying how pretty I am now, but the means to get this way is so not worth it!

Bow Wow Meow Luau

Mommy and Daddy took both me and Lucky to another special event for dogs today. The Bow Wow Meow Luau was a blast! We all got in for free by donating a bag of dog food. There were all sorts of booths selling stuff and promoting the welfare of animals less fortunate then me. And the coolest thing is we both got blessed by a Father! (pictures coming soon!) Thats why Mom put my good shirt on, so I could look nice for the special occasion. Oh man, that shirt got me lots of attention. Everybody was telling my mommy how pretty I am. And I was a good little girl too... except when I snapped at that one dog... invading my space and all. But other than that I was an angel.
Lucky behaved really well for his first major dog event too! We are both getting extra treats all day today!
