We are back at the house in Alaska. I love it most of the time it works better for my coat. But it does get too cold even for me.
It was snowing this morning when we went outside and it is dark for a long long time right now. We have lots of land in Alaska, the people we own have 10 acres so we can run for a ways and still be on our property it is great. We even have visits from neighbor dogs.
Well thats it for now, Happy Solistice ;-P

Woof – This is Sir Tristram De Lions here, you can call me Tristian or Nopeeze for short. For some reason today I felt the need to express my appreciation for Redwood Forests. The people I own (Nicole and Debbie) like to go hiking in the forests and that’s how we (Misty, Snowball and I) gained our appreciation. I have been on just about every trail in the California costal Redwoods.
I really like small streams. There is nothing quite like running through a stream and splashing the water. I like running in the ocean too but it is not as fun as running in a forest stream. Most of the time we are hiking where there are no other people I will let Nicole go off leash. That way I do not have to keep track of her. I think she has more fun that way.
Another thing I like to do is go looking for critters. We live in a town surrounded by Redwood trees right now and we have critters called squirrels. They sit up in the trees and taunt me when we are at home, but one day I am going to catch one of them critters in the forest. I have come close a few times, but that climbing skill of theirs keeps them out of my reach.
Oh yes one other item before I go. Several people who do not like us dogs have caused some forests to be off-limits to dogs. Imagine that a forest that is off limits to animals. Please help fight this disturbing trend, wherever possible make it known that you think dogs should be allowed in forests and parks.
Well that’s it for this entry, until next time.
