A short History of my Travels

Hello, My name is Misty well Dame Mistine DeLions to be formally correct. I am a blue chow chow and I live with my two people (Nicole and Debbie), my doggie mate (Tristian) , one of my daughters (Snowball) and our 2 cats (Satine and Marmalade).

I was born in Northern California and Nicole and Debbie adopted me when I was only a few weeks old. We lived for many years in a town called Sebastopol where I had a big yard and it was almost always warm outside. I was the only dog in the house for about 3 years but we had a whole gaggle of cats.

One day Debbie brought home a small puppy that was only a few weeks old called Sir Tristram DeLions. I bet you are wondering what is with the names. Well before Nicole and Debbie knew what kind of dogs we are they called us Lion doggies, thats where the last name DeLions comes from. Nicole also has this thing for the Sir Thomas Mallory tale "Lemorte De Authur", which explains the formation of the names and why Tristian got his name. Anyway we lived for several years in Sebastopol and we had a dog house with a back door that went into the house through the floor so we could go in and out freely.

One day we moved a long way to a place where it was very cold. The move was great, I rode in a big truck above all the other cars. Nicole told me it was called "shotgun". I saw all kinds of new stuff. We ended up in a place called Fairbanks, Alaska. Here we had a really big yard, Nicole said it was 10 acres but who knows what an acre is, there was no fence so Tristian, Snowball and I would pretty much explore until we were tired and return to our house. The house was on a hill with a big deck which we could lounge on in the Summer and keep an eye on the yard. But in the winter it was just way too cold. We would run out in the winter and create a little yellow snow just beyond the porch and head right back for the house.

We were in Alaska for a few years and we moved back to Northern California. This time we lived in Crescent City for about a year. Once again the ride was fantastic. Crescent City also had a great beach that we would go running on. Nicole loves to go running on the beach and I go with her whenever I get the chance.

We recently sold our house in Crescent City and bought a Motorhome which we now live in. It is small but sometimes we stay at the beach or on the river. We get to walk in new places all the time. Right now we live on a river near Sebastopol.

I am in the first chapter. It is science fiction so you have to like that kind of stuff.
