Arrival Story:
Peg's owner died when Peg was 10 years old. We had a 10 year old dog (Maggie) so Peg came to live with us. (She was bred by one of my best friends.) Peg came right in the first day and made herself right at home! She really brightened our lives and was a real joy to Maggie once Maggie got accustomed to the idea of not being the only child! After we had her a few years, she was diagnosed with and valiantly fought renal failure, living for two years after diagnosis, but the death of Maggie was too much for her to handle. She left us to go play with Maggie at the Rainbow Bridge. We still miss them both desperately.
