Well.. time to leave Camden!

Mommy and daddy got us a new place in Milford with a yard, and a full basement for us doggies, and not to mention a FIREPLACE! I was beginning to worry about how Santa was gonna get in... but now, all is well! I can't wait to move in!!!

We are Moved in!!!

Mommy and Daddy have finally brought me and the two pups to the new house!! I like it here, because we can all be in separate rooms, and I've got time to myself now, away from the pups, the cats, and the ferrets. Mommy had to take the tray out of our crates, though, and replace them with cardboard, because with the hardwood floors, everytime I moved, it sounded like I was careening back and forth in the crate!! My favorie place is the bedroom.. the carpet is so thick and comfortable!! I'm still not crazy about going potty on the cement patio... I make mommy walk me next door in the grass!! Silly Kairi has gone #1 and 2 on the cement already!! Well, until next time.. farewell!! Oh, and momy told me to type that she'll be taking video of the whole apartment and us and stuff as soon as everything is moved in and tidied up a bit!! Licks!

My belly hurts!

I got spayed today... I'm mad at mommy! She dropped me off at the Office where she works, and LEFT me there with this nice lady... and then the lady turned into a mean lady when she put me in a kennel all by myself!! Then, they made me sleepy, and I woke up witha sore tummy! Apparently, they had to sew me up after they cut me open.. why'd they do that??? I dunno.. but at least I'm home with mommy now!

Bye-Bye, puppies!!

I've only got 4 more puppies left.. I miss them!!! At least Zephyr will be staying with me, but that doesn't mean that my other puppies aren't sorely missed. Mommy says she's gotten excellent homes for them so far, and she's even hung up on a lot of people to do so! (Hint!! Don't start off the conversation, "Hey, yo.. I heard you got some pits you tryin' to sell?".. it makes for a bad impression.) Mommy has also managed to sell them in pairs so far!! So they won't miss me too much... ::sniff:: Polar bear and Blue were the first pair, then Ms. Piggy and Chance, and then Cinnamon and Clefty. Now, I've only got Sarge, Sweetheart, Dominatrix, and Zephyr to play with..

Puppies, Puppies, Puppies!!

whew, I'm so worn out.. i finally had my puppies on the 18th, and they're just so hard to care for!! I gotta feed 'em, clean them.. eat their poo.. and it's hard to sleep at night because I can't get comfortable!! Oh, well, at least they're healthy! Mommy tries to get me away from them twice a day for a short walk, but about halfway through it, I usually remember my puppies, and turn around and pull her all the way home! i can't leave them alone too long! Mommy says that I'm a good mommy like her, and she was proud of me when we were at the vets and i almost attacked a beagle for trying to go near them. She says that I'm doing a great job, and that she doesn't have to worry about me eating them anymore.. or laying on them.. or not feeding them.. At least she can sleep at night, now! Paws up, and licks!

Wow.. last night, I really thought she was going to have the puppies.. she was showing all the classic signs.. restlessness, no appetite, nesting, and milk production. Then, when she wolfed up some ham, I knew right there that she wasn't going to have them quite yet. Oh, well.. the longer the pups stay inside, the healthier they'll be. Thanks to everyone who has sent us wishes of good luck and healthy puppies!! Without Dogster, I would be all alone in my joy and excitement!

I'm Pregnant.. I'm Pregnant... I'm Pregnant!!!!!

Since I'm finally showing, I suppose the time has come for me to confirm that I am, indeed, pregnant!!! I'm due around March 20th.. that's in.. let's see.. 18 days!! Unfortunately, that means 6 weeks of no outer contact with other doggies. So, no lum's pond visits or anything of the sort. Gotta protect the pups!! Any inquiries about the pups can be made to mommy at 302-382-9134. I was bred with an AmStaff, and he was purebred with no papers, because he was the runt, and the owners didn't pay anything for him, and bottle-fed him from 2 weeks of age. You can see him here, he's the dog on the right named Soldier. Anyway, I've got my whelping spot all set up, next to mommy and daddy's bed.. though I'll probably be having them on the bed instead.. so mommy said she'll be laying down a tarp and old blanket there to prevent any stains on the mattress! So, wish me luck, and you can bet there will be lots of pictures up when they're born!!!! Licks!

I got some butt.... hee hee hee..

I finally found a boyfriend!! His name is Soldier, and he's soooooooooooo cute! He's a half-face, just like me, and he's a big 'ol stud! My mommy says he's a purebred staffie, and has good blood.. or something like that.. Anyway.. we've been "going out" for four nights straight, and I think he likes me, because he keeps doing to me what I like to do to pillows when i'm in heat! I'm seeing him again tonight, to see if we can get a good knot; whatever that is... mommy says that Soldier needs a stepstool because I'm so tall, but I think he's perfect!! Apparently, I went into heat after only three months, so she was caught by surprise! Luckily, she had Soldier as a back-up dog, so i can have some really good puppies! (I don't know what THOSE are, but they sound like some sort of gourmet food... yummy!) So, wish me luck tonight!

Ugh.. not feeling too good at all..

Goodness, life is rough right now... Last week, mommy took me to a friend's house to play with her dogs, and their staffie had a cough.. I didn't play with him at all, but when mommy took my buddy Nala home with us for two days, I got the cough, because Nala got it, too!! So, now I'm coughing up mucous and stuff. Mommy's not taking me to the vet because Soldier, the staffie, got better all by himself. She and Daddy did squirt this awful tasting stuff down my throat last night, I think they called it "Tussin..." I feel a little better right now, though, so I guess it helped. Also, to go along with the coughing, my tummy hurts, too. I'm in season, so I'm a little crappy feeling anyway. However, we all went to Cape Henlopen State Park yesterday, and had a lot of fun running down the 80' dunes!! woo-hoo!! I'm worn out!!

Howl-o-ween weener!!

Puppins did great this tuesday at PetSmart's Howl-o-ween contest!! She came in first!!! We dressed her as a fairy/butterfly thing, and she was in top form as she competed against about 30 0ther animals, including ponies, chinchillas, and rabbits! Also, we think she met her perfect mate, a standard poodle with a champion line... He loved her to death, and they played for quite a while while we, the owners, spoke about hooking them up when she comes into heat this spring. She's shown playing with him in the photo above. I love the fact that he's liver-and-white, so her mostly-white body will be carried to her pups. I'm looking for folks that might be interested in piddle-pointers.. they're bound to make great family companions, and I know the pups are going to be SOOOO CUTE!! oh.. and to the young lady we spoke to about pictures, please go to the account A753612584@yahoo.com to get them.
