Likes: Currently, she's really into laying around on her back. I guess she's trying to take the pressure of the puppies off whatever body part is bugging her.
Pet-Peeves: Kairi trying to drown her.. Zephyr hanging off her neck, Mikey attacking her..
Favorite Toy: Anything she can chew on (Bully Sticks, Cow hooves) or tug with!
Favorite Food: Innova Lg breed puppy... and a few raw scraps here or there.. like cornish hens, etc.
Favorite Walk: She loves going to Brown's Branch County Park, Lum's Pond State Park, and Killen's Pond..
Best Tricks: Catching stuff, speaking, begging, high-five, shake, and pray, and she's great at staying where we tell her to.
Arrival Story: We saw an ad in the paper for a pit bull puppy.. I was always a little cautious about pits.. My mom is one of those "All Pits are Evil" folks..Well, we called the guy, and he said there was another couple coming to see her, and we were still 30 minutes away!!! We were so desperate to get this dog.. so my boyfriend threw some money his way ($10) to hang on to her.. and when we saw her, locked up in a small, chain-link pen with no shelter, all muddy, yet happy to see us.. well.. it was love, and pity. Poor thing obviously wasn't appreciated, and the owners said she was constantly jumping up on their 3 year old twins!! Well, they obviously hadn't heard of training, but I guess it was a good thing, because we got a perfectly cute, perfectly hyper, 4 month old puppy!! (Best 10 dollars I EVER spent!! We're so blessed!!!) Oh, and my mom thinks she's such a vicious dog because of her lineage, but Chansey wouldn't hurt a fly!! Teddy Bears, maybe.. but not a fly. Now, since she saved Cooper's life, my mom is a little more relaxed, but since that news story about a pit puppy chewing off an infant's toes... Idiot freaking parents!! Of course, since it was a pit, it made national news.. but c'mon!! a lab pup could have done the same thing!! DON'T LEAVE KIDS AND PUPS UNATTENDED!!
Bio: I love to walk her anywhere and everywhere, even the Air Mobility Command Museum on the Dover AFB! I take her up into the cockpit of the C-130 , and all over the other exhibits. Anywhere I take her, everyone just loves how well-behaved she is! They always think she's so obedient for a pit bull, but she's actually quite typical of the breed. She's so easy to teach, and she just minds us naturally. She's a breeze to control off-leash, and she's so great around kids!! She's especially gentle with the small ones; she just lays on the ground and lets them climb all over! She's also an avid White-Water Rafter! She went with us to Ohiopyle, PA last summer (2006), and did the Middle Yough!! That's class 2-3 rapids!! She even jumped into the rapids after me when I fell out of the partially-flipped ducky. You can guess who my boyfriend pulled in first.. yeah. the dog. Last November, she devoured a $300 car stereo.. or at least the face plate. Which you can't really replace without getting a whole new system... but we love her anyway.. she was in the "adolescent" stage, and over the next month, she also tore the headrest off the passenger side seat.. guess it got in her way.. and every time she did stuff like that, it was because she was left alone for a while in the car. But now, she's mellowed out a lot, and hasn't done anything bad. We can leave her alone in the apartment, and the worst she does is eat the cat's food. We have VPI (insurance) on her, so we can pay for any of her mishaps. We though she ate cricket poison in December, but luckily she just ate the container.. but finding that out was fun.. we had to give her hydrogen peroxide via a turkey baster.. she's now terrified of the darn things. (lol) With her 1st an only litter, we had a blast raising them!! They were awesome! However, after they started to go to new homes, and they kept dying of parvo.. it was a nighmare. I was so careful with the little guys!! I vaccinated them every 3 weeks starting at 4 weeks, and only 5 puppies didn't get it.. and the 4 that did get it got it 2-3 weeks after we had sold them, so it wasn't coming from me... But the dogs were in 2 different homes! I just don't get it!! Plus, Tru' got attacked by a German Shepherd, and she didn't make it either. Only one of the puppies was actually treated for their parvo, and I don't know if he (Blue) made it, as his owner's phone is disconnected. So, all that put a huge damper on the puppy thing, but at least our Zephyr is healthy, and Chansey didn't get hurt in the process! As far as having them again, well, Chansey is now fixed, and Zephyr is, too. Kairi, however, is not, because we plan to show her, and if there is a demand for pups.... we might breed her.

Mommy and daddy got us a new place in Milford with a yard, and a full basement for us doggies, and not to mention a FIREPLACE! I was beginning to worry about how Santa was gonna get in... but now, all is well! I can't wait to move in!!!
Mommy and Daddy have finally brought me and the two pups to the new house!! I like it here, because we can all be in separate rooms, and I've got time to myself now, away from the pups, the cats, and the ferrets. Mommy had to take the tray out of our crates, though, and replace them with cardboard, because with the hardwood floors, everytime I moved, it sounded like I was careening back and forth in the crate!! My favorie place is the bedroom.. the carpet is so thick and comfortable!! I'm still not crazy about going potty on the cement patio... I make mommy walk me next door in the grass!! Silly Kairi has gone #1 and 2 on the cement already!! Well, until next time.. farewell!! Oh, and momy told me to type that she'll be taking video of the whole apartment and us and stuff as soon as everything is moved in and tidied up a bit!! Licks!

I got spayed today... I'm mad at mommy! She dropped me off at the Office where she works, and LEFT me there with this nice lady... and then the lady turned into a mean lady when she put me in a kennel all by myself!! Then, they made me sleepy, and I woke up witha sore tummy! Apparently, they had to sew me up after they cut me open.. why'd they do that??? I dunno.. but at least I'm home with mommy now!
