Daisy is frickin' hot...Mommy says it's over 100 degrees out there. And this puppy needs it to be a reasonable 75 degrees. Daisy wants Mommy to do something about it now.
And Daddy's not here. Where can Daisy chew on human toes? Daddy! Daddy needs to come home now. Mommy says he's in a far away place called California. Daddy let's Daisy get away with murder...that's what Mommy keeps saying. But Daddy likes to make me a happy puppy. Nothing wrong with that. Daisy wants Mommy to bring Daddy home. Mommy doesn't let Daisy chew on human toes...not even a test nibble....just one Mommy? One little....OK. She's not budging on the test nibble...not even one.
Today, Daisy spent the day by the pool at Dog Day Afternoon. I splashed around the wading pools with my puppy friends...but the sun was too hot.
Daisy is soooo pooped. It's hard work - playing in the sun. I'm going to take a nap on my couch now.
Good times.

Daisy looks so fierce!
Last Friday, daddy asked for a summer cut for his Daisy at Dog Day Afternoon. The nice ladies shaved all of my hair off....all of it! It's a great cut for these juicy summer days. Everyone loves it and everyone loves Daisy! Plus my mommy and daddy got haircuts on Friday as well. They like to copy Daisy! I'm such a trend-setter!
I also got a report card back from day care. It talked about how Daisy gets to meet all the new puppies. Daisy likes to get the new puppies excited about day care. I introduce them to the regular barkers. It's a big job for Daisy to be part of the welcoming commitee....but I'm up for it. Everyone wants to be friends with Daisy!
And Daisy is still on her meds. It's for my mange. Mark looked it up and the web says mange happens in purebread puppies like Daisy. Mommy has to shoot this icky liquid into my mouth and I try to skip out on the meds. Then mommy gives me some prosciutto...Daisy's such a gourmand!

We have a new member of our pack....Mark's daddy is staying with Daisy's family.
Mark's daddy likes to pet Daisy - even when I'm barking at him. I think he gets it. I think he understand that I'm only looking out for my pack and I haven't memorized his scent yet. Besides, Daisy has a hunch that he likes it when she barks at him.
Love my bark!
During one of our daytime walks, Markie took Daisy up to the hill. After doing my business, Daisy sniffs the flowers. Such yummy sniffs. But no daisies for Daisy to sniff. Then I found a blossom with a tasty looking bee. Daisy wants to bit the bee. Then the bee bit back! Owiee! Mean bee!
At Bark Park, one of the little white dogs, Pepper, noticed a garbage truck outside the fence. It looked like the truck was going to attack! So, Daisy joined the other doggies in defending Bark Park. We barked at that truck until it dropped the garbage bin and ran away, so scared it tucked tail behind its legs.
Love my bark!

When my mommy or daddy takes me out for a walk, Daisy likes to smell the flowers in the field. After Daisy takes care of her business, Daisy checks out the white blossoms and the purple blossoms. But Daisy can't find other daisies to sniff....no worries.
Daisy is also a puppy with style, like Paris Hilton. I watched the E! Hollywood Story on the Hilton sisters with my mommy on the couch. Daisy is a a dirty blonde like Paris. And Daisy enjoys the simple life....with a touch of bling. I already have a rhinestone collar and my sweet pink coat. It's only a matter of time before Mommy glams-up Daisy for something special.
Daisy has a discriminating palate, like Paris. I got bored with Daddy's liver and peanut sandwich cocktails. A puppy can't live on bread alone. I know I had to take the drugs for the hole on my nose...but Daisy can't do liver and peanut butter sandwiches every day! So, mommy made pastrami carpaccio with the drug powder. Yummy!
And this puppy loves to party like Paris....The nice people at Day Care said Daisy was like a social butterfly last Friday. I had lots of new puppies to sniff out at Day Care. Daisy wanted to show the new puppies how it all goes down at Day Care. And today, Daisy's back at day care. Maybe Daisy will go out to the pond today! But I heard one nice lady from Day Care say the pond was only for the big puppies....little puppies go to the wading tub...but Daisy is a little puppy with a big heart. So big pond for Daisy!
Good Times!

Daisy got to sleep over at Dog Day Afternoon this weekend.
Daisy got to play with her doggie friends and Daisy loved running around in the sunny weather....
But then Daisy chased a shadow into the fence....Thankfully, the nice lady at Dog Day cleaned out Daisy's ouchie....
But when Daisy got home...Daisy couldn't help her puppy-self. Daisy had to scratch and scratch and scratch at that boo-boo on her nose. So itchy!
On Monday morning, Daddy looked really worried. And when mommy got home, she said Daisy looked like a thug with a big hole on her nose. Mommy rubbed Daisy's tummy and promised to get this puppy some good help.
Daddy drove Daisy and mommy to the nice doctor with smelly treats. Daisy liked the fishy treats. Daisy spent the morning with the nice girls at the doctor....they told Daddy and Mommy that Daisy got a bit of a mange....and the doctor cleaned out Daisy's hole on her nose.
At home, Daddy made a special sandwich for Daisy with white powder and liver paste. Daisy likes her new finger food. Daddy kept trying to fuss with the hole on Daisy nose...driving Daisy crazy....
And the next morning, when Mommy came home....Mommy looked happy to see Daisy...Daisy still looking like a thug, but with a smaller hole on her nose.
Good times.
