Life is good

Bath time!!

My brother Sammy gets sooo scared when it's bath time, but I play it cool and act like it's no big deal. But then when they close the bathroom door and I have to actually get into the bath, I get a little scared. Sometimes when Mommy's not looking, I try to jump out, but Myanne is there and makes me stay in.

They try to make me feel better by telling me how pretty I will look after, and that will smell soooo good. Who cares how I smell? I'm a dog! But I guess it is fun to shake after and get Mommy and Myanne all wet! Hee hee! Then I get to roll around and play in the towels that they put on my bed. That part is awesome! Not to mention the nice treat I get when I'm all done. Woof woof!!

Weekends rule!

Hi my name is Maggie, and I love the weekend! Especially when its sunny out.... I could sit outside in the backyard ALL DAY! Luckily, Mom likes to lay in the sun, too. During the week, Mom, Dad and Myanne leave us home the whole day and we're (my brother Sam and me) SO BORED! Myanne leaves the TV on for us, but we can never understand what those people on NBC are saying.

But the best is Saturday mornings. I get to sleep late... except of course if a dog walks by our house. Then I bark at them and run from window to window. Mom and Dad get really mad when I bark... but I'm just doing it to protect them (I hope they know that). Mom and Dad are sooo cool because they let me and Sam sleep on their bed. If I had to sleep on the floor, I don't think I could handle it!

Today is Sunday, and Myanne took me for a walk a little while ago. When I don't bark at other dogs, she calls me "Good Girl". I always try to get Myanne to run or at least walk FASTER, but she won't. She bought me a new purple harness a couple weeks ago... I love it! Its much better than that crappy old choke collar. That old choke collar used to make me hyperventilate and sometimes even throw up! I think Myanne felt really bad for me, so thats why I got a new harness. She says I look pretty in it. I think purple is definitely my color. Purple is the color of royalty, and sometimes Myanne even calls me "Princess Puppy", so I guess it fits perfectly!
