Hello.........well here I am back to full health, I had a litter of pups in December 2004 and unfortunately I wasn't very well afterwards. So my human mummy took me to the doggie doctor, where it was decided I should have an operation.......whatever that might be, but it did sound serious.

Well mummy took me back to the doctors very early one morning, without me having my breakfast, then she left me........poor mummy was crying I couldn't understand, but she left me with a lovely lady (a nurse) called Lisa, she took me to a nice comfy bed. A bit later she came back and put something very sharp into my leg, it only hurt a little............and I fell asleep.

When I woke up I had a very sore tummy, but I was so sleepy I just went straight back to sleep. A bit later mummy came to get me, I was so happy to see her that I was jumping about, but Lisa told me to stay calm......but I wanted to go home and mummy was here!!

Apparently this operation was called Spaying, which means I can't have any more babies, mummy said 3 litters was enough and as I'm coming up 6, she said I can stay at home and have lots of fuss. I also had a very sore mammary gland, I had a small lump after having my last lot of puppies and the doctor took this out for me.

We went back to the doctors 10 days later, they took out my itchy stitches and told mummy that the lump was benign, nothing nasty so now I'm 100% back to full health and enjoying every minute of it!
