Xena started seizing at 4:05 this morning, after giving her 1 1/2 doses (7.5 mg.) of Valium rectally, we called the vet and he met us at the hospital.
He gave her another dose (5 mg) of Valium IV. Pupils were reactive but NOT equal and she could not breath even with O2.
After fighting so hard she never came out of it and her seizing continued and worsened, then her one eye blew (severe brain damage) and at 5:42 a.m. she made her way to the Rainbow Bridge to be reunited with her Odie while cradled in my arms.
I am totally devastated and just want to roll over and die myself.
My Baby Girl is Gone!!! But will NEVER be forgotten!!! I Love you Baby Z. FOREVER Momma's Baby Girl!!! Xena has been cremated and will be buried with me (Momma) and her furblings~Odie, Snuggles, Skeezics and Rags when my time comes to Cross the Bridge.
