Mommy made it back from visitin with Sissor an' Miss Oula. And boy oh boy, she smells like dogs!
Where Sissor has her 'partment, the peepoles have 2 English Setters. Very friendly, goofy English Setters. Me and Tux could smell Odin and Willow on Mommy's pants and coat and there was even sum of their hairs on her coat. She said there was sumfin wrong with those 2 dogs. She never heard 'em bark.
Mommy and Sissor had a super duper time together. Sissor gave Mommy a tour of the town, where she works and all. Then they went to 2 different LYS. For all of you pups out there that don't know, that stands for Local Yarn Store. A LYS don't sell your grandma's yarn. Naw, these places are for yarn snobs that think "acrylic" is a bad word. These stores sell yarn made outta bison hairs, alpaca and baby alpaca hairs, yak hairs and wool. And not just any wool. The breed of sheep is mentioned on the label and sumtimes even the Name of the sheep is on the label! Yeah, this stuff costs a small fortune. Mommy and Sissor just went there to rub yarn on their faces. So soft, ya know.
But get this, at one LYS, Sissor bought 2 out-of-date knittin magazines. At the other LYS Mommy bought sum lil bitty pottery dishes. For soggy tea bags. Gah! See what I mean? It is always 'bout the yarns and teas with those 2.
Sorry I can't bark to ya 'bout what Me and Tux and Daddy did 'round here while Mommy was gone. We'd probly all get in trubble. Bol!
But it was all good! I can tell ya that much.
Axfurly, it's a good thing Mommy did go to visit Sissor.
Mommy was catchin up on Dogster Diary entries and Anya mentioned a problemo with Windows 8. Sissor has Windows 8 and made a suggestion. It worked for Anya!
We pawtied so much while Mommy was gone, now I'm gonna sleep it off.

There's a lil bye-bye bag. Only one. Not the one Daddy uses when he goes to the National Guard drill time thingy.
What is up?
Mommy is leavin! Who will feed Me? Who will let Me out and in and out and in...
Who will keep the wood stove goin so's that I won't freeze? Who will sleep with Me on the big bed?
Daddy is stayin home with Me and Tux! Daddy will do all those things that Mommy does. Mommy is goin to visit with Sissor and Miss Oula in Montana for a couple of days. Sissor only gotted Christmas day off since she hasn't worked on her new job very long and is still the lowest form of minion. So Mommy will take her pressies to her.
Maybe Mommy should take Her dirty clothes to Sissor's. Bol!
I will miss Mommy.
But! This is gonna be so good! Daddy will give me a bunch 'o breakfast and tons of cookies. We can go for super long walks. A bunch o' walks too. And I can stretch out on Mommy's side 'o the bed. And Mommy won't be here to holler at me to be quiet and I can bark as much as I want! And maybe I can get my own bowl 'o popcorn or at least sit in Daddy's lap and eat outta his big bowl!
And I will get to go outside the wire with Daddy alla time! And not look up at the window and see Mommy wringin her hands or waggin her finger at me and Daddy. Bol!
Have a good time Mommy. Don't worry 'bout a thing 'round here!
Now I can finally nab sum bites of Christmas ham!

It was out there. Out along the side of the house. Under sum garden hose. I told Tux to stay on one side while I was on the other. That mousie wouldn't come out. But we were waitin for him.
Mommy spoiled our huntin fun.
Made us come inside. Yeah, we got good cookies, but still. Nuthin like fresh, real mousie.
When we finally got to go outside again, the garden hose had been moved. The place still smelled like mousie. But no mousie was to be found.
GeorgieCat was cleanin her whiskers. Harumph!

I bark. You pups know that. It's what I do. It's what defines me.
Whatever that means.
I do bark at stuff. Even if Mommy thinks there is nuthin there. I bark.
Take this mornin. Still early. Just past dark o'clock when it was starting to be light o'clock. I was up on OPZ (Observation Point Zoe for my newer readers, or the Back-Of-Loveseat-Lookout).
I started barkin. And kept it up.
Mommy told me to be quiet. Said there was nuthin there to be barkin at.
Then she came over and looked out the window.
Then Me and Tux got to go outside to bark 'em up real good. Those deers high-tailed it outta there.
Oh, and there are 'bout a million black cows in the pasture next to My yard. Good barkin at those sirloins on 4 legs. They just stand and stare at Me and Tux. Can't get 'em to run.
But it is still cold out there, tootsie freezin cold, so I prefer to do my barkin from inside.
Here's hopin you have sumfin Great to bark at in your lil corner of the world.

Dang Pups. It is C.O.L.D. at My place this mornin. It is a minus number. And that means it's Cold!
Me and Tux went outside with Daddy while he took care of sum outside type stuff. I wore my coat.
Tux fell down.
When we came in, Daddy told Mommy 'bout how Tux fell down. Maybe he was jus' so cold or sumfin.
Yeah, I'm ok, if anyone cares.
Could you heat up my cookie Mommy?
I ain't goin outside no more! They'll have to toss me out.

Pups, it is stinkin cold at my place. My favorite number is 8 but 'cept when that is the temperature outside. And that's up from when I first had to go outside after breakfast. Add wind blowin outta the north and there ain't nobuddy wants to stay out there for very long.
Mommy Makes me go out in that weather. I usually scratch at the door to let her know I'm ready to come in. I've added a whine to the mix. It's that cold.
No snow. No clouds. Clear, blue skies.
Wind and cold. It's a dry cold.
I gotta find a coat to wear. Or else go potty downstairs, like Notme does.

Wow, Thanks Pals for all the doggie bones spillin outta the corny-cope-ee-uz you pups are sendin. Thanks for the ones you're sendin to the rest of my furmily too. Mommy especially likes the kitty cat corny-cope-ee-uz. They have balls of yarn spillin out. *sigh*
And Sissor came home at dark o'clock yesserday. I was real happy to see her. And no, she didn't bring me nuthin. Just her knittin and dirty laundry. But I am still glad she is home!
I scored sum lil white bug lookin things in the kitchen yesserday. Mommy was bakin sum rolls and puttin the lil white bug lookin things on top. I helped clean up the ones on the floor. They didn't taste like much. Oh, she calls them "open sesame seeds" or sumfin.
And then, I just scored sum yummy stuff that spilled. Sum crum things offa sum onion stuff. Not the onion stuff, just a few teeny crums. She said I'll probly get pantiesaretightus (pancreatitis) now. Hey, you gotta be quick round here. I am happy to help with the clean up.
I better get back in the kitchen now. Things are startin to smell good.
Have a great Thanksgiving!

We got sum snow happenin at my place this mornin. And wind, of course.
Not much snow. Just enough to cover up my cute lil poops so's that Mommy can't find it and is worried that Tux Will.
And it's Daddy's birthday! He's like, old. They was talkin and he can get re-tired when he's 60 in a couple more years. Then we can move to My farm in Colorado! Yay!
In case you're wonderin, I gave Daddy sum socks for his special day. Bol! Axfurly, I think I've ordered sum book but it just hasn't got here yet.
Mommy had to have sum gift to put in the family's traditional snake gift bag. It has funny lil snakes all over it and the family recycles it year after year for any birthday that comes along. I don't know why they do that.
My family is weird.
Happy Birthday Daddy! I am and will always be your girl!
