Durn deer

I do love to bark at the deer neighbors. 'Course, I love to bark at anything.
The deer sleep in 'mongst the trees in the river bottom. They come out in the mornin to look for eats in the wheat fields and stuff.
My place is in their way from their comin and goin.

I bark at them. Comin and goin.

Last evenin there were a couple of those durn deer Right Over There. Just on the other side of My fence. Of course, I had to bark them away.
Problem was, Daddy hadn't shoveled a path over there on that side of the yard. Over there between some lilacs and other shrubs and the fence.
I had to plow through 'bout ten, no, make that hunnerd, foots of snow drifts.
If you don't think that takes talent to bark and plow si-mo-ta-nee-us-lee, then you needta think again.

I better ask Daddy to get to shovelin sum more. For me, his cute lil Schnauzer grrl.

It is hard to do that! It is also hard to bark at deer while trying to git Mum to move faster so you can get close to them. She is large and in charge, BOL. We saw a small herd last week around the corner from our house and try to get her moving fur 2 blocks. Just wasn't happening. Unfortuantly they are never in or next to our fence. I'm so envious of your barking.

You did the best you could, Zoe! It is hard on us when our domestic servants don't hold up their end of the bargain and keep plowed trails for us to run on. I'm sure you scared those deer with your barking regardless.

Ya know how deer go "sproing, sproing" when they are movin fast? That's how Daddy said I was movin when I was barkin at those durn deer.

HD, a flag on the end of a stick like peepoles put on their 4-wheelers? I think I might need one of those! Good idea!

We haven't seen any deer or elk for a bit now as they have gone back into the mountains now that the bears are sleeping. All I can bark at is daddy - BOL, BOL.

Just don't let them put on one of those blinky glow in the dark lights on your collar that happens to me sometimes.
