The reason I haven't barked in my diary? Nuthin to bark about.
I mean, Brother packed up his spiffy, sporty red car and took off. He's in Ohmamaha or sumplace. He won't be back for a long time. He was the only one who ever played with me 'round here. So now I gots nuthin to do.
Borin. Nuthin goin on.
So's I just park my cute fuzzy lil carcass up on my Love-Seat-Look-Out and, well, look out the big window.
Ok, so sumtimes there is stuff to bark at. Not much.
They have been workin in the fields across from my place over there. And also behind my place back there. I can't see one way 'cause they stacked huge bales of wheat straw over there. It's like a huge privacy fence. At least I can still hear the neighbor dogs barkin. That makes me bark. Sure can't see anything comin from that direction.
But the worker men have been comin an goin. First a big tractor pullin sum equipment goes to one field. Then another tractor does it's work over there. And since the same outfit farms both places the big tractors move from one field to another. I 'specially like when they rumble on the road right in front of my place. And then there are the worker men in the white trucks. And then there is a truck that has fuel for the tractors. And then one tractor broke down so's another truck had tools for fixin the tractor. And the men were walkin 'round over there while they were fixin the tractor. And then the men who move the irrigation pipe come along to do their job.
And there's the jogger eye-doctor man. And there is a dog runnin lickity-split, don't know where it lives or belongs. And there is a school bus. Couple times a day. And the mailman. Didn't bring me nuthin. And the trash truck stopped by to dump our trash.
See how borin it is 'round here?

I get hollered at to be quiet. A lot.

So borin 'round here.

I don't know, that sounds like a lot more stuff than goes on around here. We just get to bark at delivery trucks, motorcyles and the ice cream truck. Well Hammy barks at bicycles and skate boards too. I'm not that desperate to bark. Oh and of course the outdoor kitties in the neighborhood and squirrels. So I guess I have enough to bark at too.

Duncan, that ice cream truck sounds Great! Do you run out there and your momma gets you and Hammy a treat Evfurryday?
Buddy, don't you have stuff to bark at at your place? I know you have a great walkin area. I am sure you have plenty of critters to watch out for.

You and Whitley should have a barkin' contest... no matter how borin' it is, she always finds sumthin' to bark about. She barks when someone comes into a room or when they goes out, she barks at the sky when she goes outside, she barks at the mailman ( I taught her that one!), she barks at the cats when they meow or fight, she barks at me when I scratches myself, and she barks nonstop when she plays pool ball...she barks at birds, bunnies, and squirrels, the wind... you name it, she'll bark it!

I've been practicing my barking all morning long. I'm ready for this barking party. Especially if the rules are you don't get yelled at it for barking.
