Always on guard duty. Yep, that's me.
Tux always finishes his breakfast first and goes outside. I eat my breakfast and go outside.
This morning, I was eating. Tux was outside when he sent off the alert. Sumfin was going on out there. I needed to get out there to give orders.

I still had several mouthfuls of food in my dish But I Didn't Eat Them.

Now I have been known to grab a mouthful of food and run outside. Barking with my mouth full. But it is a muffled bark.

This was the real deal and I needed FBM (Full Bark Mode).
I just took off. No food in my mouth.
Barking at full throttle.

My food dish had been picked up when I came back in a just a second or sumfin.

Yes, I hope you got your food dish back too. You were only doing your job and you need your energy. I would think that after such a good job that your food dish should have a couple of extra yummy treats in it for you.

Nope, no food dish came back out. I have to wait another 2 or 3 days afore I get breakfast again. *sigh*

BOL...I bark with food in my mouth sometimes too, and then I choke and Mom hollers at me....

Yeah, I am alright. I usually get like one tiny crumb of cookie per day.

This is an appalling way to treat the Home Guard. Does your Mom not know the expression "An Army Marches on it's Stomach?" It was one of the many downfalls of Napoleon and Hitler -- the troops need to eat in order to protect.
I think you should write to your CongressDog.
