Me and Tommy and Tux went outside the wire with Daddy this morning. We sniffed and inspected our place. Then Tux decided to run to the garage for the cat food. He couldn't get in there so he went out sniffing along the road. He had to go back in the yard.
Me and Tommy and Daddy kept inspecting the place. We were good dogs.
I am kinda liking him. He doesn't pester me but I will chase him sometimes. He and Tux like to play. They are more the same size. And another good thing about him is that sometimes he drops his cookie and I can snatch it up fast. Gotta keep crumbs offa the floor ya know. ;-)

Oh, and this is funny. Don't tell nobody, k? Our neighbor, the one who walks past My place with his fifty-eleven dogs? He called Tommy's foster mom about adopting Tommy. I wonder if he will recognize Tommy the next time he walks past My place. Right now, it is hard to see Tommy outside. He is the same color as the dry grass! He can play hide and seek real good.

One complaint I have. Ok, so whenever I get good and fuzzy and Cute to the max, I have to go get groomed/tortured. With Tommy, he is all like wild and crazy Einstein haired.
And Mommy thinks its cute and has no plans to change anything about his do. That seems wrong to me. I don't know what to do about it though.

I am still boss dog around this place. I gotta get back to barking from my love seat post.

Zoe, you will always be the 'big' dog of the house! Sent a pal-request for Tommy. He's such a cutie. We are happy he has a furever home with you and your furs and unfurs!

We didn't picture Tommy to be Tux's size. Since you barked he was a Cairn with long legs we thought he would be about Drover's size. It would be interesting to see pictures of him with you other pups so we can get a better idea of how big he is.

I can relate to Tommy's hair. It is like being an affie where we are suppose to have permanent bad hair days. It makes the grooming much easier. :)

He weighs just under 25 lbs. Breed standard is 14 lbs for dogs. He is about 18 inches tall, that's a guesstimate. I guess all that wiry hair makes him seem bigger.
The foster mom knows people who know Cairns. They say he is full Cairn. Maybe from a puppy mill. Cairns are really scarce around here. Don't know his story before was found injured on the side of the highway.

Whitley and I are left kinda scruffy, too. Your Momma might want to run a stripping comb over him every month or so to remove the dead hair from his coat...that's what you needs to do with us terriers to keep us from getting matted hair.
