Early morning happenings

We get up around here pretty early because Daddy has to go to work. So this morning it was kinda cloudy and still even a bit dark.
I found something out in the grass. I was looking and kinda jumping back. I didn't know what the thing was. Mommy was afraid to come over to look to see what I had found! She thought it might be a little snake or a mouse or other creepy crawly critter! She didn't want me to get hurt or bitten so she came over and asked what I had found.
"I don't know what it is, I've never seen one before," I answered.
Mommy looked and said it was a great big dragonfly. It must have been hurt because it didn't fly away. She still didn't know if it might try to bite me so she was able to pick it up on a piece of grass. She put it way up high so I couldn't reach it. It may be out there still. It sure was big, Mommy said it was about 4 inches long! That's about 10 cm, Jelly! She said it could carry me off but I don't believe that!
Since I couldn't reach my big dragonfly Mommy started throwing our outside balls for us. We have one that is a Buddy Glow Ball that glows in the dark. Now, like I said, it was a little bit dark. Mommy throws like a girl and threw the Buddy Glow Ball right into our patch of tomatoes. It was hard to find that light green ball in all those light green tomatoes! Mommy is a little bit taller than me and she found it first. I was really looking for it though. It was a tomato jungle! BOL
I'm gonna go try a piece of tomato right now! My pal Jelly found out they tasted yucky. Hey, I like them! I had about 5 little pieces! Drover didn't like his! That's ok, I'll eat them!
