Pet-Peeves: Being groomed, being left alone, Drover playing with my toys
Favorite Toy: Bear, fuzzy ball, my rope toy, squeakies, balls, security snake
Favorite Food: Mommy's homemade doggie cookies, popcorn, carrot slivers.
Favorite Walk: Along the river
Best Tricks: I can jump though a hoop! I know my toys' names
Arrival Story: Mommy and Daddy were looking for a Mini Schnauzer, so they visited me and my litter, Mommy sat down on the floor, and I came over and gave her a big kiss! And Daddy said "There's your new puppy!" And the rest is history!
Bio: I have a sister named Cindy who doesn't talk much and doesn't like to play with me very much, but we like each other. I also have a brother, Drover who plays with me a lot. He takes my toys, though, and that makes me mad. He's not too bad, though.
I get reeaaalllyyy excited when Daddy gets home from work and I like to run outside and sit at the gate and wag until he comes in the yard, then I roll over and he rubs my tummy! I like to sleep on my princess pillow. When I go on walks by the river I like to smell where bunnies were, but I can't ever go chase them because I'm on the leash. There are porcupines there too, but I can't chase them either. Sometimes I get really excited and go running up and down the hall and I bounce on and off the couch like a bunny.
Forums Motto: Lovin' life!
So yesterday I didn't get to go on a walk with Mommy and Daddy. None of us did.
Some of my pals have suggested that pawrents like to do stuff together, Without their Dog. I can't even imagine that. Who wouldn't want their cute little Schnauzer girl trotting nicely along beside them?
I found out why I didn't get to go. And that wasn't the reason.
It is the other dogs' fault! And they didn't know how to sneak out of the house with just me.
Mommy and Daddy didn't want Cindy to overdo it with her bad legs. She gets all crazy when we head out on our walks. Yeah, she is feeling better since she has been taking some pills but they didn't want her to have a set back.
And the boys! They pull, pull, pull on their leashes. Mommy tells Daddy about collapsing our tray-kias but he just keeps jerking. Gotta teach 'em not to pull! And Drover is the only one that has a "no-pull" type of harness thing. Our walks aren't very pleasant for Mommy and Daddy!
So it was just easier to have us all stay home. Plus, somebody has been putting up some fence along where we like to walk. My pawrents wanted to check it out, to make sure it was ok for us all to walk there.
I still vote on going. Why should I be punished along with the bad boys?
Next time, I will!
Daddy just left for work. He always checks to make sure he has everything he needs. Cell phone, check. Wallet, check. Lunch, check. Keys, check. Schnauzer, check.
bol, I headed out the door with him. I know I can't really go to work with him, I was just going out to bark.
So I am feeling better. I had a brunch this morning at 11 am or sometime. It was just my regular breakfast still in my bowl. But I ate it all. Later I barked like crazy when the neighbor and his elventy-eight dogs went past my house. We all rushed out to tell them to stay off our lawn. Yeah, I feel better.
Daddy got home today. I didn't even bark that he was gone, did I? I am kind of getting used to him having to go away, I guess. I sure get excited when he gets home though. He didn't bring me anything. What else is new?
And get this! He and Mommy went for a walk, without me! How many ways is that just wrong? They went out the door. Sister let us out in a minute or hour and we could see them walking along where we always walk together. I just don't understand my pawrents sometimes.
Thanks for sending me get well wishes pals! They worked!
Hmm, maybe you can send "take a walk with your cute little Schnauzer girl" wishes too.
