Arrival Story:
My 4 legged sweetheart named Lacy Tamworth came into my life on April 17th. She was born on Dec 20, 2003 in Virginia and a short 6 weeks after she and her 6 littermates were born, her mom was hit by a car and she and her mates were picked up by a nice woman who ensured that they were well taken care of. Her puppy siblings were brought up to Massachusetts where they were all adopted and Lacy stayed behind for a while to have some medical needs attended to. She was fostered by a lovely family who took great care of her and as soon as she was ready, they contacted Boston Dog Rescue through whom I connected with her. She arrived after a long journey from the South on Aprilr 17th and we've been having fun ever since!! How appropriate that I picked her up in Hopkington, MA on the weekend of the Boston Marathon!!

Hard to believe that it's been a year since I arrived at my new home in Massachusetts. I've been having such a wonderful time. I live so close to a doggie park that I get to go play at least 3-4 times a day and had so many friends near my own age....I love dogs of all sizes and ages....puppies are still my favorites!! I do like to hunt (I've got a great sniffer) and run and play although my mom is working really hard to train me to come when she calls me. I know when she's calling me but sometimes...I'm just don't want to listen. I do, however, eventually come home because I know how much I'm loved there!! I think I'll give it another week or two and then respond when called...more consistently.
Today is March 28 and it's raining really hard.....I'm not wild about the rain so I think I'll stay inside and sleep most of the day. I had my early walk already......
