Arrival Story:
A day after moving to a new apartment (chosen because it allowed dogs) Mommy and Daddy went to see some JRT puppies that were advertised in the paper. After deciding that Lasher was the puppy that I liked best, we found out that he had a hernia and was $100 less than the other puppies. Since Mommy can't resisit a sale, that sealed the deal ;) Lasher's hernia was supposed to be fixed when he was neutered, but the doctor looked around, and couldn't find it, it had healed on it's own.

Bio:
Lasher was diagnosed with a condrosarcoma tumor on his rib, and had surgery to remove the tumor and 5 of his ribs. He had his surgery in spring 2004. Lasher has now recovered from his surgery, and is back to his normal wonderful self. His scar is mostly covered by his fur now that it has grown back, and he has an indent where the ribs were, but he can run and jump and play just like before. Both his mommy and daddy are thankful that we were able to get surgery for him and that he has recovered so well. Thanks to everyone who sent Lasher kind wishes.
