My First Public Appearance!

The first time I went to a really crowded public place, was when Mom & Dad took Mariya, and I to a big Balloon Festival. I could hardly believe it, those balloons were so big, and loud. The best part was everyone thought I was just the cutest little thing they ever did see, so I got lots of petting that day which was a little scary so I wrapped myself around mommy. I saw lots of other puppies, and little humans, there was a feast of goodies on the ground, but mommy wouldn't let me eat any of it. Until next time, always be on the look out for falling food.

The end of the long hot summer!

I was so glad when Fall came around the air was crisp, and the leaves were falling, and I was chasing them all around. Mommy came outside one day with this scary looking stick, it was called a rake, she was gonna take all my leafy toys away. I had already made a nice leaf bed with Mariya, where we would take our naps after a long day of romping about. I watched carefully as she raked the leaves into small piles at first, then combined them into bigger piles to be hauled away, I tried to distract her by bringing a tennis ball over for a game of fetch, but she didn't fall for it, she just threw the ball, and said not right now little boy. {so time for another plan.} I decided to drop my ball into one of the big leaf piles, I couldn't find it on my own so I began to cry. Mommy came over, and she found it right away, she said now Jonah don't be puttin that ball in the leaf pile or it will be lost forever, then she threw it, and again I went to retrieve the ball, and proceeded to put it back into the leaf pile, I decided to run through the leaves, and look for the ball on my own, before I knew it I was bouncing in & out of the leaves it was so much fun, I can't wait til next Fall.

When the fence was finally up!

My dad works really hard around our house, he spent the beginning of the summer clearing brush, and cutting down trees to chop wood for the winter. So when he started putting up the fence, I waited with anticipation. He worked on that fence for a week and a half, ya see he put it in all by his self, and he was fencing in 1 acre for us to play, so it was a big job. Then one day he told mommy "RELEASE THE HOUND'S" hehe!! I think he heard that from some movie or something, anyway she let us go, and boy did we go, around, and around chasing, jumping in our pools playing on the wood pile, oh what fun we had. I love our play yard, Thanks Daddy!! Licks, & snuggles Jonah!

My first summer!

Last summer was soooooo hot, mom bought mariya, and I each our own baby pool. She did that cuz our fence wasn't up yet so Mariya got to go on a 100 ft run, and mom tethered me to a 25 ft run, and then put our pools close to us so we could play. Mom made sure I was close to the house cuz I was such a little guy, and the deer would come right up in the yard they were huge, and a little bit scary. Mom, and dad would come out, and play with us, they even let me go on Mariya's big run that was alot of fun. When I was that little they would also use a 26 ft flexi, and run back and forth next to My sisters run so we could play. Well that's all for now!

Coming Home!

Well, I wasn't to sure about going home with Mariya, cuz to tell you the truth she just seemed so big to me when she came to visit the breeders house, but once we got there it was great, all the neighbors came over to see me, and they said how adorable I am. I learned very quickly that Mariya wasn't gonna chew on me, but would end up protecting me from other dogs in the neighborhood, that's when we lived in the condo,mom, and dad were in the process of moving so we had 2 houses for a short period of time.I liked the one in the country the best, I'm glad we moved there.
