Quick Bio:
-mutt-dog rescue

Likes:
On cold winters days he enjoys snuggling up to his master and going to sleep on the couch beside her. He also enjoys eating quite a lot, he fights with his flatmate, who happens to be a cat, over the food dished out into the bowls on the kitchen floor.

Pet-Peeves:
The thing Shaker dislikes the most is violence. He does not like people hitting one another or shouting at one another, and most of all he dislikes being annoyed because he is quite snippy sometimes.

Favorite Toy:
Oddly enough Shaker doesn't play with toys. Never has and most likely never will. He'd much rather curl up and sleep than chase a ball around -- he's actually quite scared of them.

Favorite Food:
Cheese! He can't seem to get enough of it! His master suspects he might have been a mouse in his past life, this would explain his love of cheese...

Favorite Walk:
His favourite walk is the one he and his master take to her Uncle's place. They have a Rottweiler and an Alaskan Malamute and he enjoys playing with them.

Best Tricks:
He can cuddle when he's told, "Cuddles?" by placing his paws on either side of his masters shoulders and leaning his head inwards. He also gives kisses on command (on the nose) and is very obedient.

Arrival Story:
Approximately 13 years ago a 6 year old girl found a tiny little black dog wandering the streets. The dogs name was Lady, and the little girl fell instantly in love with her, taking her home to show her mother. Unfortunately for the little girl this tiny dog belonged to her next door neighbour and so she had to be returned. But her mother had promised her she could have another dog, and so within a few weeks a 6 month old puppy was brought to her home. His name was Shaker, and he had suffered from physical abuse with his previous owners. He was a very timid and very scared little puppy. It could take up to half an hour to coax him out from beneath the table/chair/wherever he was hiding. But in time he learnt to trust his loving masters, albeit he doesn't trust most other people. Ultimately he was saved from a possibly short-lived life filled with physical abuse because of that tiny black dog, known as Lady.

It was very cold today.

When the light came out today the big one let me out of the cold room. I tried to get on the big warm cushion, but I couldn't jump high enough. I tried again but missed, so the big one picked me up and put me on it. YAY!

The middle one let me cuddle up to her and we got to stay in the warmth for a bit longer than usual today. I think the middle one was very tired because she was making very loud rumbling noises.

It was very cold all day! When the middle one took me off the big warm cushion she brang my bed out of the cold room and put it infront of the bright hot box. I love my bed, it is very comfortable and warm.

The big one went somewhere today for a while, so I spent the afternoon sleeping and when she came back I could smell meat. YUM. The middle one is always nice and gives me some of what she's eating. Sausages!

Now it's time to curl up in my bed infront of the big hot box.

Woof!

Another rainy day

I hate the cold room. I always have to sleep in there. When the light comes up the big pet opens the door and lets me out. I run straight to the big warm cushion and climb into it next to the middle sized pet. She always cuddles up to me when I climb in it. I like the warmth.

The middle sized one then gets up and takes me with her. She does this every morning... I miss the big warm cushion. But she turns on the bright hot thing for me and I settle down infront of it. I love sleeping, it's fun.

I got a lot of affection today... I don't know why but the middle one let me cuddle up with her today under the blanket while she watched the loud box. I don't like that box...

Oh here comes that pesky cat. He's so mean, always picking on me. I don't like when the middle sized pet pays him attention, she always pays him more attention than me. But the big pet always cuddles me when I'm upset. I like that, the big pet is very nice.

When the cat leaves I get to eat his food. I like doing that, he always eats before me... I try to push him out of the way, but the middle pet always tells me off and picks me up. Not fair.

My pets are so noisy! Everytime I think I'm going to get some peace and quiet one of them starts making noises and I have to get up off the couch to investigate and put things back in order. The middle one is always hitting the big one. I don't like violence so I give her a bark to put her back in line. That should do it.

Oh look! They are hugging! I don't want to miss out...

Woof!
